[MDF] I bought these speakers for use as bedroom Bluetooth speakers. I like that they support a decent Bluetooth codec (aptX HD) and include a remote control at this price point. Out of the box they sounded a little flat to me so I applied an EQ curve using my phones adaptive sound, eight band graphic equalizer and after a boost to the bass and treble (with the speaker Bass and Treble dials set to 0) the speakers came alive for me. This EQ curve also helps with low volume listening. The Bass and Treble dials on the speaker didn’t seem to have much of an impact to my ears. I eventually began to wonder how the speakers would sound once the internal crossover was activated and the speakers didn’t have to deal with the lower frequencies so I bought a cheap subwoofer at my local thrift store and plugged it in. I noticed a definite improvement in the sound and with the subwoofer connected I no longer need to limit these speakers to a near-field configuration. I really like the simplicity and reliability of these speakers as a Bluetooth solution. They have good range, always connect promptly and it took all of five minutes to open the box and set them up. All that was needed for surprisingly nice stereo imaging was an average Android phone, the phones built in equalizer and some favorite WAV files stored on the phones MicroSD card. These speakers are highly recommended. My only quibble is that the remote feels a little cheap, but works fine.

[30 Hours (BT)] I use the headphones to listen to TV late at night via bluetooth. Between the Headphones & TV they connect automatically with easy volume controls.

[58 x 37 x 19"] I am finally able to mix with headphones! These are so much more than an eq curve. It is like you can really hear the mixing environment.

[USB 2.0] The cleanest sound I've ever heard from my speakers and headphones. Built-in EQ is really valuable as well as the remote control.

[Stereo] Don't get me wrong, if you know what you're doing you can tone match any decent headphone to sound good with EQ. My OG Astro A40's sound as good TONALLY with EQ, but resolution wise? Not even close. Even some expensive studio headphones ($500) struggle to keep up with the resolution of these. You're not gonna win any games with slightly better imaging, these can do everything good, unless you care about simultaneous mixing. I bought these to produce music on and play games without having to switch headphones, and dang do they do it well so far.

[AAC, LDAC, SBC] Rich, dimensional sound. And with Headphones Connect app, you can tailor the EQ specifically to your tastes.

[Yes] These have a very clean, clear open sound for a noise cancelling headphone. When set with no EQ, they do have a significantly increased bass response compared to what I'm used to in headphones, but that bass is extremely tight and articulate, not boomy or muddy. You can turn it down 2 to 4 dB with the simple three-band EQ that is set from the iPhone or Android app if you're like me. (Note that I'm used to somewhat lean bass, my wired headphones being HD600, HD800S, and Audeze LCD-5, all of which can benefit from a bass boost in EQ). Unlike my first wireless Momentum, these pair easily and reliably with Apple devices (in my case) including laptop, iPhone, and iPad. They can pair two devices at once and auto-switch between them. The call quality is exceptional, the touch control on the righthand earpiece is easy and simple, and the noice cancelling is good, without giving the impression of reduced sound quality. Last, they offer insanly good battery life! (Sennheiser claims 60 hours). At the new lower price, I think they are an excellent value, and a pleasure to listen to.

[20 Hz to 20 kHz] Sweet! Contrary to some reviews, these headphones have Bluetooth! Just not under water...duh. Love the MP3 option plus Bluetooth.
