[2.5 W] I work backstage in live events. For years I got by with cheapo desk lamps you could buy at Walmart, etc. and those were okay. Finally just bit the bullet and bought this... because... well it's professional and the ability to dim to the level you need is important. Other techs working backstage don't appreciate you blasting their eyeballs as they're trying to look at camera shots with a blazing bright $15 cheap desklamp.

[105 W] I have built models and published articles and reviews about them for decades. For years I used Arri hot lights with a diffuser for photography (all from B&H) and a pair of high intensity desk lamps for construction. Recently I decided to find photo lights to replace both. Not only is the little ALZO LED lights' brightness perfect for my purposes but so is the color temperature. The little ALZOs have exceeded my expectations. The thin wall aluminum stands and lamps themselves are lightweight and time will reveal their durability. The ball and socket connection between the stand and lamp seems unable fully to tighten down but does hold the light exactly where I want it and neither has come loose. The diffuse light the lamps emit allows leeway in placement so I rarely find it necessary to reposition the lamps. The ALZO lights are not heavy duty studio lamps you can manhandle but certainly are less delicate than many things you are likely to photograph with them. The price for the pair is about half of what it would cost to replace only one of my former desk lamps. Overall I consider the ALZO 2-light kit an outstanding product.

[Fluorescent] I've had multiple LED desk lamps illuminating my workstation and large format printer cutting table for several years. It was okay until the one I always leave on burned out. I decided to upgrade and bought two of the V70 lamps. I like them so much I plan to purchase a couple more. Bright enough for easy color viewing of large prints and adjustable color temperature is nice to simulate color conditions. Nice size, not too small to light a broad area. I will still use my Graphic Light for judging and comparison, but as I get used to the accuracy of these little lights I'm sure I will rely on them more. I don't use the diffuser when pointed down but I think I will when I get my next 2 lamps that will illuminate the walls around my workstation. Happy with the purchase so far. The old LED lamps are relegated to the accounting desk.

[1920 x 1080] Wish I had found this light before purchasing other desk lamps. Mounting to the top of the monitor, the light evenly lights my whole desk space without glare on the monitor itself. Another benefit of the monitor mounting is it does not take up any additional desk space. Especially helpful on a small desk. Auto dimming works well. Ability to adjust the color temperature is a nice feature, but would be nicer if the color temp could be more precisely set to a specific value.
