To use an external or any other device that uses a usb port, you'll need this adaptor. [Download] I recently purchased a laptop with2 USB-A port and one USB-C port. My external hard drive has a USB Micro-USB 3.2 port so this cable allows me to attach my drive to the laptop at the USB-C port Otherwise, I would need to use both USB-A ports and be SOL for attaching my mouse dongle. 5 |
