External Hard Drive Data Storage

I had to formatted it before use, don't care the software that come with..I delate everything it work perfect with my macbook pro. [0.9 lb] I use it for my Storage Spaces external drives to get 54TB of data storage.

[8x 2.5"/3.5" ] Changed my external storage from Drobo using hard drives to 4x4 TB SSD's. Used tech assistance by phone from OWC to format the new drives and to initiate data migration. Works great. Compact, fast data transfer and no heat.

[ 3.5" HDD ] The LaCie 8TB d2 external hard drive is well-built and reliable. This is my 8th LaCie external hard drive and I've never had one fail. I feel confident backing up data on these hard drives. While these are not as fast as SSD (solid state drives), they are less likely to lose data over time (SSD's will slowly discharge over time when not used and can lose data). Fast shipping by B&H.

[ 3.5" HDD ] High capacity external hard drive. Quick transfer of data + very quiet. Excellent rubber padding makes it a bit more bulky, but so much more secure, especially when traveling. Would certainly recommend to a friend.

[1 x USB 3.0] I bought this to access data from orphan drives taken from my multi-bay external hard drive. It's easy to install a drive in the enclosure and my iMac immediately recognized the drive on startup. Transfer speeds were fine for my purpose (copying files from the drive). A good solution for me at a reasonable price.

[6 TB] [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love to play Xbox but I have always had a problem with the amount of storage the games need to play them. This 3TB gives me more than enough room to download all my games and more. Some of my games are almost 100gb and without the extra external storage it would take up almost hard drive. Hooking the external hard drive up was very easy and just needed to be plugged in directly to the Xbox. The Xbox will recognize it and will be ready to move downloads and store them as needed. The hardrive may look small but 3TB is a very large amount of space! This external hard drive is great quality and I'm pleased how easy set up was with it.
