Extra Battery For Car Audio System

[Blue] I had my first Porta Brace back in 2003. I have rated it 5-stars in the past. I can't help but praise only the durability and versatile use of their bags and cases. In my recent rentals of HD cameras, they are all using Porta Brace cases. I am not surprise anymore. The rental package includes all the accessories to the camera, charger, extra batteries, on-camera lights, wireless audio, zoom microphone, audio cables, extra tapes, manual, tripod accessories, they all fit perfectly in the case. It's like I throw everything in the case and I still safely find a spot in the case. Granted that the shoulder strap is wide, soft, comfortable and durable, it get's heavy at times but it feels solid to lug around. This CAR-3 Cargo Case did just that. It has now become my everyday case to carry around my camera and accessories. It has become a single item in my checklist since when I open the bag, I already memorized what item should be in the certain pocket or position inside. When I pack-up my staff in the field, it is the same case, I check the pockets to make sure that I am not leaving from the location without any accessories left behind. I give Porta Brace CAR-3 Cargo Case 5-Star rating for overall versatility, durability, and practical everyday use.

[1/4"-20 Female] I love having additional power while in the field when away from the car. This works great using an extra regular lithium battery that's the same as the one used in the camera for double the power. You can also expand your camera capability with a larger battery to increase your FPS but I haven't tried that yet...

[Yes] Loaded this pack up with 2 dslrs, an extra lens, battery chargers, audio gear, snacks, and even stuffed a windbreaker in an outside pocket and took it on a 12 day trip to Israel. Opened and closed it just about every hour on the tour, set it down in on wet pavement, put it through security checkpoint conveyer belts -- it was everything I could have wanted. I had it pretty much loaded to the max, but the zippers were tough and held throughout the trip. Tough exterior and great options on the inside. Gear got home without a scratch. No problem carrying it on the plane. Fantastic price for such a great pack!

[120 VDC] I bought the system back in the Kickstarter days. Two Delta Pros, One Smart Extra Battery, 400W Solar Panel, One Extra Infinity Cable, and the Double Voltage Hub. Shipping delays, FedEx, and a DOA Smart Extra Battery created a few concerns. That said, customer support was very good. Responsive when you contact them and quick to resolve shipping and repair of the Smart Battery. Installation of the system went well after finding a competent Electrician in the area. Startup of the Smart Home Panel went reasonably well after multiple firmware updates. Initial scheduling of Charge and Discharge functions take some time. It is a bit clumsy and does seem to take a few days to incorporate the schedules. After the first week of actual operation I am very happy with the systems performance. The portability was the key to taking this approach to battery backup. I look forward to expanding the system in the future.

[25 kHz] Easiest way to get a fully battery powered wireless mic for camera audio or sound system audio. The scan for open frequencies is very good. Gain adjustments on both the receiver and transmitter are very helpful. I've used them at weddings across crowds of 150 people with no interference issues. The "mute" feature on the hand held mic is not something your average user would ever understand so if you need that it's not for you. The AA batteries on the handheld mic also rundown at about twice the speed of the receivers which is odd. Overall an excellent product. Shipping from B&H when in stock is fast as always. Do NOT order this to be shipped from the manufacturer. Sennheiser is awful and will keep you waiting for weeks, possibly a month or more.

[0.175 lb] My Furman UPS for my audio/visual system had died becauise the lead acid battery was too old to keep a charge. I initially took it to battery & bulbs but was told they did not stock the replacement batter. I searched online and found it at B&H for a great price with free shipping! I have installed it and the replacement battery works fine.
