[16.5 lb] I bought this with an EZ Jib and it has worked well so far. Can be mounted overhead or underslung and the controls on the remote can be switched accordingly to allow for the change of direction. In addition to this, the rotation speed can be varied on the remote as well as varied by the joystick on the remote. It can move fast or silky smooth. Make sure to take the time to properly balance your camera for best results. Also; don't forget and leave your quick release plate behind as I did once. I was 2 hours away and had to attach the camera to the head with a 1/4-20 camera knuckle that had a long enough thread to pass though the plate and securely attach to the camera. My original head came with the varizoom remote cable and RCA video cable already routed through the inside. Since then I have run an HDMI cable (mini to regular) through it to accomodate my HD cameras I did not have back in 2008.

[0.08 lb] This is a handy little device. After using the normal EZ Rig style clamp that I would attach to my camera top handle it doesn't take long before you realize it can be fatiguing and eventually troublesome to put on or take off. The longer you have been filming, the more tired you get and complicated it is to attach and remove. I got to a point where I had to stand next to a table to set the camera on it because it was too difficult to hold the camera and do the clamp with one hand. Now with the King Quick Release Adapter, everything changes! It's a much easier process to squeez the release levers with one hand to open the safety claw and attach to the ring. And same for removing it. This was a big help for me especially when I don't have any assistants to help me out. It's super easy to setup and doesn't require you to restring your EZ Rig like other quick releases. Super solid construction. I consider it a must have.
