[USB-A Female] This drive only works on newer Apple Computers. I had to purchase another DVD/CDW drive to work on my old iMac G-5 to replace the worn out drive built in the computer; I was lucky that B&H had that drive and it works fine. I had no problems with the Apple USB SuperDrive on my new computer and will keep when I replace the newer computer (7 years old now) as the new iMacs do not have a built in drive. 5 |

[0.3 lb] Different USB flash drives have significantly different read/write speeds. This SanDisk Ultra is several times faster than cheaper flash drives. The SanDisk Ultra Pro is even faster, but a lot more expensive. This one seems to be the sweet spot in terms of performance vs. price. If you use a flash drive for transferring large files between your work computer and your home computer like I do, it's worth buying a better flash drive that has read/write speeds like this one. This USB hub makes using a flash drive much easier on my All In One computer. Not having to turn my monitor sideways to see the USB ports and having 7 USB slots makes things a lot faster and easier. Not to mention no stress on my built-in USB ports. The On/Off switches are great as I can turn off a USB slot before removing or installing a flash drive. 5 |

[Yes] I personally bought this AIO primarily for its duplex scan functionality. You do have to install the IJ Scan Utility to scan to your computer. Works great. Still haven't been able to scan output to a USB flash drive. And no documentation on what format the flash drive should be for this workflow. But the scan to computer mitigates scanning to flash drive, at least for me. The printer functionality is not as critical for me. But it's nice to know I can print, when needed. The output is good enough for most purposes. Even better that I don't have to purchase cartridges anymore... just refill bottles. As with most inkjets, users should probably print a full color page at least once a week to prevent the nozzles from clogging. Full cleaning every month/quarter. Satisfied with the AIO, so far. 5 |
