Floor Standing Choir Microphones

[Phantom Power] These Rode M5 compact microphones are way more than awesome!! They are not what I expected but they were much much more. I just received them last week and have already used them on a filming job of a choir. When I did a run thru very first time with the choir last Thursday I had my headphones on just making the necessary audio adjustments and my other videographer on camera #2 looked at me from across the room where he was running his camera and said Looks like you are happy about something!! I bet it's those new Rode mics!! Never seen you with a smile like that in a long time!!! I just gave him a thumbs up and was totally way overwhelmed. The sound is what I would expect from a $2,000 plus microphone. Anyway, this is a MUST BUY and you probably better buy quickly from B&H because the pricing on this won't stay this cheap for long.

[Phantom Power] We are using these condenser microphones for a 20 member church choir. The product literature was very helpful for us in assembly and future modifation of our sound system. The sound technician and I also liked the on-line tutorials that Audix posted.

[1-Channel] I have two Yamaha floor standing speakers hooked up to my turntable and tv system. I was looking into setting up for 5.1 and didn't really know how to do that with out spending a ton of money, and then I found that Yamaha has these available! They have made a huge improvement in my home theater set up, they integrate really well. You have to run cables, which are unsightly but I don't see much of a way around that. I live in a medium size Brooklyn apartment (so...small by USA standards, lets be real here)and this has been a perfect solution! I'm no audiophile, and I actually skipped the sub because the floor speakers put out plenty of bass for an apartment. Yamaha stuff for me has been a great value. This equipment will work for years to come, and as a lover of film and casual gamer, I'm in heaven! Now to get that 4k tv... :-)

[None] I host a podcast for a website I run, and in the past have used a floor-standing mic stand with a boom. It was pretty cumbersome to be setting up all the time and took up a lot of space on the floor. I finally bit the bullet and picked up the PL2T, which is awesome. The mount clamps on the back of my desk, the boom goes in, and off I go! It's really easy to position, my pop filter attaches with no problems, and it takes up almost no space when not in use. I have nothing bad to say about this product.

[+10dBV] There is no standmount or floor standing speaker within reason that can control and put out bass like a quality sub. It is far better to cut off satellite speakers at 80hz (and the sub for that matter). The satellites will be more open and effortless, bass will be cleaner. A crossover will make a huge difference in detail, dynamics and clean slam. Quit running your stand mounts or floor-standers full range. cross them over and you'll be rewarded with superior sound.

[Sine Wave] If you need a free-standing, floor type 10kVA UPS, this is probably as good a unit as you can find. Dual conversion is best type of UPS circuit topology, which what this UPS utilizes. It’s also extremely versatile, with connections for step-down transformer(s) and external battery cabinets (for scalable runtime). This UPS is hard to beat if you’re looking for the highest quality build available.

[12 AWG] This is a very large floor standing speaker and it fits well in my media room, sound is full on low bass with rich midrange and high, nothing to complain.
