[2 W] I have used this microphone to mic my flutes in live performances for the last 15 years. I usually switch between several flutes when performing live and this mic makes it possible to quickly go from an alto flute to a bamboo flute or piccolo. Being able to move the mic closer to my mouth is great for instruments that are soft. The sound is very balanced and I get a consistency in levels that makes it possible to hear myself even when I play bass flute. The output level is very hot so I can keep my preamp gain low. I also use this mic when recording with effect pedals. 5 |
