Full Frame 35Mm Lens Prime Video

[9, Rounded] I come from a full frame Canon background and I recently picked up this lens for a Sony Alpha 6000 to use as a webcam. It not only performs like a champ as a webcam, it shoots photos well. AF speed is decently fast. It's certainly not the fastest but it's def on the fast side. Sharpness is also very good. I've seen sharper lenses but as a prime 1.4, its photos are pretty sharp. The size is large for a Sony mirrorless APS-C, but coming from full-frame lens world, this lens is much smaller than what I'm used to. It attracts less attention when you're outside. Overall, this is a relatively cheap lens that performs well on a Sony mirrorless body. I don't think you can go wrong with this if you're looking for a wide angle prime. Haven't really done portrait shots, but as a talking head zoom camera, it does its job really well. There are also many YouTube review videos and the they're very positive. [9] This 23mm APSC lens is equivalent to a 35mm full frame, a should-have focal length for street photography. HAD to have it while living here in NYC area. Great lowlight performance. Very satisfied with my purchase.

[1.45 lb] I shoot tons of skateboarding and have owned a handful of different fisheyes for all sorts of cameras over the last 10 years or so. I recently purchased this lens to use with the Sony A7s (in APS-C mode) for shooting video and I could not be happier. This is definitely THE BEST fisheye I have ever owned. Not only does it cover the full frame corner to corner (no vignetting), but it manages to fit a wider angle of view than I have ever had with a full-frame fisheye before. Also, the de-clicked aperture is a must for shooting video and comes extremely handy while going from shade to sun or vise versa. The lens is nice and sharp in the center and only softens a little bit at the edges, but that is not a surprise with a fisheye this wide. The last benefit for me is having the removable lens hood. Many fisheyes have a hard-mounted hood, which if broken, cannot be easily replaced. This one can. Buy one. Buy one now!

[Canon EF] The 5 stars is not for absolute quality, only value for $. I shoot multicam video with both full frame and aps-c, and this lens has come in handy as an extra medium length fast lens in my bag. It's almost free (comparatively), so I picked it up on a whim. I wouldn't shoot a product catalog with it, but the shallow depth of field, and speed have proved quite nice on occasion.

[Plastic] After switching to a full frame camera (D850) I was missing a light prime for a basic walk-around. It's wide (but not too wide) and performs fantastically in low light. Smooth to focus, great build and superb image quality - love the colors this lens produces!

[Shoulder Strap] Sublime materials and construction. I use it for full frame 35mm SLR and two extra lenses, or the 35mm camera and a medium format camera.
