Gaming Desktop Headphone Amplifiers

[7.6 x 5.7 x 2"] I upgraded my Apogee Element 24 to this new Symphony Desktop interface. The first thing I noticed was the quality of the headphone preamp.  I don't have a well treated room in my apartment. So mixing with headphone(Sennheiser HD650 is my main workhorse) is my usual practice. Element 24 has a solid HP. But the HP on Symphony Desktop gives me even better details and clearer bottom end on frequency spectrum. Compared to Symphony Desktop, the HP on Element was a bit muddy at the bottom end. The sound stage is also noticeably wider with symphony desktop. For mic preamp, I haven't done any comparison yet. I'll update this post when I have time to do it.

[Yes] I am loving this microphone. First, it is simple to use. I plugged it into my Apple laptop and also my PC desktop and it showed up right away on both. No issues. I'm impressed with the sound quality this little guy produces. It sounds really good and strong. Much better than the built-in mic of my laptop or the mic that is part of my webcam on my pc. And because it is omnidirectional, the sound stays consistent when I turn my head or move around. I also like that I can pull it closer very easily if I ever want to, and then just tuck it away if not in use. The buttons to mute the mic and/or audio output make using this very convenient and easy. It is so much easier to just hit the mute button on this to cut off my mic, as opposed to trying to mute the mic with the video conference software. I love having that option. And the bright lights make it very easy to identify quickly if your are muted or not. I also love that it has a headphone jack. This is so convenient and helpful for a variety of situations. Having a headphone port is obviously helpful for video calls, but also great for everyday use. Since I have my desktop placed on the floor under my desk, I no longer have to reach under the desk to plug in my headphones. This puts the headphone jack right on my desk which is very helpful and convenient. The volume control dial is another nice feature. Power for this mic comes from the computer's USB port, so there is no need for replacing batteries or recharging. I'm very happy with this microphone, it is working great in my set-up and made things so much easier and gave me much better audio quality. [23 lb] The biggest draw of this desktop headphone stand is that it looks very high-end.  It’s inexpensive and it gets the job done!  It comes with clear rubber feet that you can stick on the bottom of the stand, but I find that it looks better without them.  If you’re not planning on moving the stand and/or will have them on a level surface - I do not see the point of the rubber feet because it takes away from the high-end look that I love.  It’s light weight and can holder my largest studio headphones.  I’m happy to have this new addition on my desktop! [97 dB ] Purchased for daughter for homeschool and gaming. Sounds better than the previous pair. The previous headphone cable broke. We bought this in the hope it lasts longer. The cable is definitely thicker.

[Yes, on Cable] [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Started using the headphone for gaming about 10days ago. They work so well, that I started using them for conference calls as well! Amazing sound, ease of use, and volume control. No distortion in the audio, just all around another great product from and by JBL!

[3.26 lb] We are using these cables to chain amplifiers together and they work great.

[Non-ECC] Dropped it in my Lenovo Gaming Laptop and didn't look back, I have never had a problem with Crucial memory in anything, desktop or laptop.

[Micro-ATX] This is an excellent CPU. It works very well for gaming, and absolutely blows the doors off any other consumer desktop CPU I've used for the compiling, rendering, and encoding tasks I do for work. B&H's service was also excellent. Their waiting list worked well, and shipping was extremely prompt.
