I bought this to use with my Windows computer when my old 5K iMac would no longer run the latest Photoshop. I had a 10-year-old ASUS ROG gaming monitor hooked up to the PC, and none of the color modes produced realistic photo color. Right out of the box, this monitor did great, except Adobe RGB was overly saturated and bright. So I bought a Calibrite (X-rite) Display Pro HL, and used that with the included Palette Master software. The calibration was easy, fast and accurate, so now my Adobe RGB mode is spot on. I only wish I had the money and space for the 27 model, as the 24 model is smaller than I had imagined. It turns out that there is a noticeable difference between 25 and 24. So I use it as part of a dual-monitor set up along with my larger gaming monitor. Otherwise, I love this monitor! It is really easy to go between different color spaces and the three saved calibrations. It's also easy to rotate between horizontal and vertical, which I do quite a bit. The HDR mode makes HDR computer games look incredible. So if you don't have the money or need for a $1,000+ photography monitor, this is a great option. If you primarily do design work, BenQ has a separate series for that without the full Adobe RGB space. 5 |

[IPS-Type LCD] The monitor is excellent - color accuracy (Adobe RGB), uniformity, etc... probably the best manufacturer of monitors with hardware calibration (built-in LUT)... with second place to BenQ. I just wish hardware calibration monitors were less expensive (sad face)! 5 |

[IPS-Type LCD] I was looking for a monitor with critical color accuracy (Adobe RGB, sRGB) and am completely happy with this, my second Asus monitor. I have found them to have excellent color and performance for a very reasonable price. I use it every day for creating color accurate graphic design, and it has been very reliable. 5 |

[26.9"] I wanted to upgrade to a "real" editing monitor. One with 99%-100% Adobe RGB gamut coverage. I shoot RAW in Adobe RGB. I whittled my choices down to Eizo and BenQ. My choice was based not only on many great reviews but also the facts that this monitor is made in Japan, Eizo's reputation for great color accuracy (and other PQ related stats) and that it has a 5 year warranty. It arrived in perfect condition. The outer box was hardly even dirty and appeared almost as it might have had I picked it up myself from the Eizo factory. A great start. It was packed well and immaculate out of the box. As it should be as a brand new item. Nothing was missing and it took about fifteen or so minutes to set it up and begin using it for photo editing. I connected my 2021 M1 MacBook Pro (MBP) to the Eizo using the included USB-C cable and that was it. I adjusted the MBPs resolution to output the Eizo's native UHD (cropped 4K) and it is crisp and sharp without any sign of over sharpening. When editing photos in Lightroom (LR), resolution is set to native 4K. If I'm surfing the web, checking messages, or whatever, I use the 1080P scaling from my MBP to make everything easier to see. I thought I would miss the slight amount of extra screen real estate going from 32" to a 27" monitor but I haven't thought about it once after I began using it. I'm glad to know I'm able to see 99% of the RGB gamut I shoot in and that those colors are accurate. I used the picture quality test from Eizo's website to put this monitor to the test and it aced them all. The color/BW gradients were butter smooth, uniformity was great across the entire screen and I saw no color bleed in grays. There are no dead/bright or stuck pixels on any of the colors. Sharpness appeared spot on also. I know it's "only" a monitor, but It's kinda special. I liken it to what it must have been like to purchase a Pioneer Kuro plasma TV. 5 |

[4096 x 2160] I do a lot of fine art printing and needed a monitor that was capable of displaying 100% Adobe RGB. The monitor hardware self-calibrates to a variety of color spaces, and allows the luminance to be adjusted separately while maintaining the calibration. HP's elite workstation group handles the support for this monitor and they are a notch above! Add the white glove 3-year overnight swap out warranty for DreamColor monitors and I couldn't have asked for more!! 5 |

[1,000,000:1] For starters - the build quality of this monitor (and stand) are second to none. It's everything that you would expect from an Apple product and it works beautifully with my MacPro. The image quality of the display is incredible - brilliant colors and sharp beyond any other monitor that I've used before. To be clear, however, there are other monitors that cost less that cover 99-100% of the RGB spectrum, whereas this monitor only covers 89-90% of the RGB spectrum and 100% of the SRGB spectrum. For my use as a photographer, I would like it to cover more of the RGB spectrum, but the accuracy is close enough that I'm happy with the results I get. Frankly, the functionality of the monitor, including its ability to transition to portrait mode automatically, is just as much a selling point to me as the color accuracy. Bottom line...this is an incredible monitor and if you can afford it, I'd highly recommend it. 5 |
