[TWAIN, ISIS] The Epson DS-530II scanner works great and is perfect for scanning all my paperwork and organizing it on my computer. It small, compact and portable. It's lightweight and fits nicely on my desk. The top folds out becoming the input tray and the return tray pulls out at the bottom. It was a breeze to set up. The software was easy to download and I had it up and running within 10 minutes. I was able to scan all of my paperwork quickly and accurately. It accurately counts the documents its scanning and leave out duplicates. The duplex feature works well and it automatically scans both sides of the documents. It scans in color as well, which is a nice feature. It's also adjustable for paper size, so you can scan small items, like IDs. It rarely jams but when it does, clearing the jam is very simple to do. It doesn't connect to wifi, so it has to be plugged into your computer to operate. “This is a review for the Epson DS-530 II Color Document Scanner that I received free of charge to do a beta test and review.”

[47.17 lb] This is a review for the Epson WorkForce ES-320W Wireless scanner that I received free of charge to do a beta test and review. Wow, what can I say, this is a great little scanner! I got this to use in the place of my flatbed scanner on my printer that I have been using for years to scan documents into my computer. What used to take 20 minutes to scan a 10 page double sided document I can now do in a couple of minutes - and the image quality is excellent! The software that comes with the scanner works well. You place the sheets in the feed tray and then press the scan button. The software automatically opens on your computer and it begins scanning the pages. When it has finished, you can delete or reorder the pages, then either save the document or do one of many things, like emailing it or uploading it to cloud storage. The software can do OCR to automatically detect the text in a document making for easy searching or copy/paste.

[HDMI: 8-Channel] Since I got my recent computer in 2013, I've been trying to get an output to my TV using the normal composite output, which the video card sadly doesn't have. (Although S-Video is an option for my TV as well, it sometimes doesn't detect it properly.) After having tried 3 other VGA to composite scan converters, I thought I would try this Gefen scaler and use the HDMI output on my video card. And it seems I made the right choice at last! While the previous scan converters suffered with a somewhat stuttery PAL output, the Gefen scaler isn't really all that bad at it. It is a little bit stuttery here and there, but nothing to get in a fuss about. When I watched a TV show using it, it wasn't noticeable at all. The image quality is pretty fine, and like it promised, it gives you a choice of resolutions. You'd probably want to stick to about 1024 768 pixels to read stuff from your computer, or otherwise it gets too tiny for your television. I tried both the S-Video and composite outputs, and they were both very good. I also tried it with my XBOX 360, and it worked fine with that too. The underscan setting is just right for my TV, if you want to get the whole image on your screen without anything cropped. It was nice to see that the power supply works from 100 to 240 V, and it also came with a set of Australian style pins, which I was happy to use! (It also had USA, British and possibly European ones too.) The metal case seems rugged and the screw in style HDMI plug is a good idea to keep it from being pulled out. All in all, it seems very well made, and it looks pretty nice as well.

[7000 Scans] This is a review for the Epson DS-575W II Wireless Color Duplex Document Scanner that I received free of charge to do a beta test and review. First, the scanner came incredibly well packed. All of the pieces that had the potential to shift/move during shipping were either taped down or secured in a styrofoam mold. This may be a small thing, but the tape Epson uses is folded over on one end so that it's easy to pull off. This was a really nice addition as I've gotten things in the past were taking off the packaging material is a huge hassle. The setup was straightforward and took maybe 10-20 minutes. The longest part was downloading the driver software and installing it on my computer (Windows 11 laptop). A nice feature of the setup is that you can do it wirelessly. There's no need to connect the scanner to your computer. My job requires scanning a large number of documents and so having a feed based scanner that can also scan both sides of pages is a huge plus. Prior to getting this Epson scanner, I was using a Brother scanner. The Brother scanner was "eh." It did the job, but it wasn't particularly easy to use or work with. The Epson DS-575W II has several features that make using it incredibly easy: - auto feed - adjustable width (this is very useful if you're scanning different size documents such as insurance cards or notepad size pieces of paper) - wireless scanning (I know another review mentioned that the wireless feature wasn't working for them, but I had no issues with it. It connected to my computer right away). - adjustable paper stop The auto feed is a great feature because I don't have to worry about setting it up each and every time. But, if I do want to go in and adjust the settings, it's super easy to launch the app. Inside the app you have a ton of options, see image below. The one I appreciated was being able to adjust the scan resolution. Sometimes I need very detailed scans, and others I just need to it be a basic scan.

[JPEG, PDF] [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the new CanonUSA - imageFORMULA R30 Office Document Scanner. It is easy to set up and operate. It has saved me a lot of time by being able to scan documents into my computer. Plus one great feature right away is that when you press the scan button, it launches a window on the computer with built-in software so that you don't need to download and install separate software like most scanners. The software will then reside in the tray area in Windows PCs so that you can easily scan again.

[Yes] I personally bought this AIO primarily for its duplex scan functionality. You do have to install the IJ Scan Utility to scan to your computer. Works great. Still haven't been able to scan output to a USB flash drive. And no documentation on what format the flash drive should be for this workflow. But the scan to computer mitigates scanning to flash drive, at least for me. The printer functionality is not as critical for me. But it's nice to know I can print, when needed. The output is good enough for most purposes. Even better that I don't have to purchase cartridges anymore... just refill bottles. As with most inkjets, users should probably print a full color page at least once a week to prevent the nozzles from clogging. Full cleaning every month/quarter. Satisfied with the AIO, so far.
