[0.275 lb] Got one of these to power a Pro-Ject Pre-Box S2 Digital DAC. Really surprised how much difference it makes. Just removed veils to make sound detail clearer, soundstage more precise, and lowered noise floor. Bought another one for a J-Tech Digital video converter that parses audio from an HDMI feed to send it to audio system. The video converter sends the video feed on to the video monitor. The iFi power supply makes the video sharper, blacks blacker, and lower visible digital noise at 1080p resolution. Will be ordering another to try on an Amazon Fire Stick - hopefully it will be further video enhancement

[2x 3.5"] Pro photographers need to protect their assets. Western Digital's PR2100 NAS drive does this and more. Western Digital has provided battery backup (using approved uninterrupted power sources) for their PR2100 NAS. Connect the Pr2100 to an approved UPS using WD's USB cable. The NAS will shut down orderly upon a utility power failure, your files are protected. Many other features such as DLNA, Plex, backup and security are also part of this great NAS system.

[Clear] After consulting with the best camera store in Charlottesville (Pro Camera) on how to find a replacement lamp for my ancient Kodak slide projector, they recommended looking online for possible sources. My first google search brought up B&H in NYC. Ironically I had previous experience with B&H; in the early 2000’s my wife was attending graduate school in NYC and I would travel up on weekends to visit. I was enchanted with NYC and, given my interest in the newly emerging digital cameras, B&H was like a camera lover’s heaven. The staff were extremely knowledgeable about all the new offerings, and I felt very confident in their recommendations. Having used a Minolta SRT 101 for years for color slides, I was anxious to jump into the digital world, and I bought an Olympus Stylus 1000, which I still use today, more than 20 years later. For me, B&H is the ultimate camera source.

[5.1 x 4 x 2.4"] Bought this after trying a GE which would not connect. No problem with the Kasa, it worked right away.

[48" / 122 cm] Works perfectly to power the BMPC 6K Pro from a D-Tap battery to the camera. I highly recommend this product to power your BMPC Camera.

[1x Monolight] I ditched my AD600s (also great lights) for two AD200 Pro flashes. Why would anyone do that? Size, weight and ease of use. I didn't really need all the power of the 600s to shoot cars and I did need something more portable that I could easily get on a plane. I would have had to check the 600s, and I hate checking camera gear. The AD200 Pro lights offer all the power I need, are not top heavy on a light stand (not like the 600s) and two fit in my camera backpack with the rest of my gear. I love the Fresnel and bare bulb heads for different reasons--it's nice to have both.

[4 oz / 113 g] Several years ago I bought the Audio Technica AT878R microphone to use with my new Canon XA10 camcorder. I really like that mic and after testing it against the Rode VideoMic Pro on my Nikon D800 I liked the AT mic better and wanted use it on my D800. Unfortunately the D800 does not provide phantom power, which the AT mic requires. After researching several options I settled on the Beachtek DXA-Micro-Pro as the best overall solution. It provides the phantom power I need but does so much more. I like that it has actual knobs for adjusting mic levels, which you cannot do on camera while filming. And since the AT is a mono mic I can use the Beachtek to record a "safety" track by recording at two different levels on the left and right track on the D800. Again, something you cannot do with the D800 alone (or any other DSLR I know of). The headphone output on the Beachtek is a bonus as well, allowing you to adjust headphone levels while filming, again another thing that cannot be done on camera. I also love the cold shoe mounts on either side which lets me hang my SmallHD DP4 monitor off the side while the mic mounts on top. All in all, the Beachtek is a super little rig.
