[2-Year ] I have had the 1st generation and 3rd iPad Pro 12.9, but this gen is awesome. I can tell the difference in snappy transitions, no lag opening apps, switching between apps, or opening Excel, Word, and image files. My 3rd gen iPad Pro was damaged and I was unable to make the transition to the new one as usual. However, I had a backup in iTunes and was able to restore it to the new iPad without any issues. The large screen allows for a great split-screen experience.

[2.44 lb] The 12.9in M1 iPad Pro has a great screen, good battery life, is comfortable to hold, and is relatively future-proof. You can use it for most things you use a laptop computer for, although it isn't a perfect replacement (for example, there is still no solution for citation management in the iPadOS version of Word). But it is unmatched in its applications for creative professionals - especially when paired with the Apple Pencil. I get about 10-15 hours of battery life on a single charge with standard usage (with screen brightness about 20%). The battery life was worse the first couple days as it did a lot of stuff in the background like syncing my files with iCloud.

The glass doesn’t bubble and is simple to apply. It prevents those little scratches and also blocks dust and fingerprints. Most of all it protects the glass from getting damaged. It is compatible with the Apple pencil too! This protector has such high definition that it keeps my IPad looking brand new!
