Gopro Battery With Charger

[0.2 lb] This is a nice little charger that has couple of nice features that I haven't seen on other GoPro battery chargers. First, it obviously charges 3 batteries where most, including the GoPro brand charger, only charge 2 at a time. This charger also does NOT require carrying around a USB cable and wall wart, since it has a built in wall plug, which I think is extremely convenient. You can use one if you wish, or charge via a USB battery pack using a cable, but it's not required. The only thing I would change about this charger is to include some sort of way to hold the batteries in the charger if it's in a bag, charging via a battery pack. It's not a big deal to use a rubber band or Velcro strip around the charger to hold them in place. Overall, I'm extremely happy with this charger.

[5 V, 2.1 A] Sure, GoPro sells their own branded dual charger (which is quite expensive, I might add), but as international buyers can attest these don't ship internationally because their charger comes with a Lithium-Ion battery and is thereby restricted to ground transportation within mainland US. Bad news for Alaska; Hawaii; Puerto Rico; etc. At the time of this review, as far as I'm aware GoPro still does not sell a dual charger or any charger marketed for the Hero 8 that does not bundle a battery with it. How shortsighted is that of GoPro? I wasn't sure how to get around this, so rather than invest time and energy on procuring GoPro's branded dual charger I began looking for alternatives. Enter the Watson Mini Duo Charger. No batteries included, it's a small fraction of the price and it's more compact than GoPro's charger. Thank you for stocking this item B&H. What's not to love about this thing?

[0.175 lb] I have a goPro 4 and when I want to charge the battery or the extra battery I cannot use the camera. Now with this charger I can charge one of the batteries or both a the same time without to use the camera for charging. I am very happy with it.

[OpticalCON DUO] I have a GoPro Hero4 and after half and hour I had to charge the battery inside the camera via USB, so, I couldn't use the camera meanwhile charging the battery. Now with this charger and with a extra battery I can use non stop the GoPro. The charger can charge one battery or two in the same time. I am very happy with it.

[Lithium-Ion] So I reached out to Gradus Group (Watson distributor for B&H) regarding the battery/charger issues I had on vacation in Venice. I wasn't able to troubleshoot the issue, as I couldn't charge the battery in the GoPro 9 using the USB-C cable. GoPro 9 told me to use only GoPro batteries and then shut down, and wouldn't charge the Watson battery, nor could I charge it with the Watson dual battery charger. Fast forward to today, Gradus Group sent me a replacement battery and charger. I placed the new battery in the charger, and it charged normally. The original Watson battery initially didn't draw a red (dead) or green (charged) light. When I checked on the charger a while latter, both batteries displayed green lights. Placed both batteries in the GoPro, neither triggered the earlier message to use only OEM batteries and both read 100% on the back screen. I labelled the original Watson battery with a white label to I can differentiate it from the replacement Watson battery. I will see if there is any difference in function moving forward. Overall, I think Gradus Group handled the situation as well as could be expected. They assured me that this was an isolated incident for them (no history of failure or problems in the battery line [GoPro 9] or charger). They apologized for my inconvenience and sent a new replacement battery and charger. Thanks Liam and Steve.

[6 x 4.7 x 1.6"] I have a GoPro Hero 12 and for some reason, half the time I try to use a USB-C cable to charge the battery while inside the camera, it doesn't charge. I don't understand it. But with this charger, I never have that problem anymore. Also, if I forget to charge my battery, I still have two more ready to go at any time.Love the LED charge level indicators on the charger. One of these batteries will last pretty much all day for anything I shoot so if I go away for a weekend and take all 3 batteries (two that came with the charger plus the original), I don't even need to recharge them till I get home. This is just a great purchase for my needs. Should have bought these with the camera.

[0.2 lb] The 3-Bay Battery Charger is one of my GREAT investments for my GoPro 4 chargers the batteries pretty fast.
