[Solid-State] Great improvement over my standard SM57 on guitar amps.

[21.3 x 6 x 3.8"] Great mic with great sound for the price. I have 6 of them now. I use them as overheads for drums, guitar amps, and also as choir mics. I only had to perform a couple of EQ curves. Understand it's not just the mic that needs to sound good. The preamp, mixing console, amps, speaker system and room acoustics all play a role in the overall sound. A chain is only as strong as its weakest link.

[5/8"-27 Male] I have ten of these permanently living on guitar amps at the studio. Perfect.

[Cardioid] I mainly bought this for mic'ing guitar cabinets and combo amps. It does a great job! Very warm and punchy, and not at all harsh or thin like some condensers can be on guitar amps. I have used it on sax as well and was very happy. I have not used a lot of other ribbons, so I don't have a lot to compare it to, but for the money, I think this mic is worth every penny.

[5/8" Receiver] Great for mics on kick, snare, guitar amps, ac guitar , etc. Really built well. Not going to break or slip like some other stands.

[Black] I use the e609 for recording guitar amps and in isolation cabinets. An excellent choice.

[Unidirectional] i use this Pyle PDMIC78 microphone for home recording on guitar amps, snare drum and vocals. very sturdy construction and very easy to get a great sound from it. the only thing i didn't like was the XLR to 1/4cable that comes with it. sounds much better with a XLR-XLR low impedance cable. i can't believe the low price! it is impossible to go wrong with this purchase and B&H shipped it to me lightning fast Thanks!

[Class-D] Most of the reviews for the JMix8 are by DJ's. I'm using it as a solo singer songwriter and this thing is INCREDIBLE!!! Got my voice dialed in with compression and reverb and my guitar just sings through this setup. I'm still learning how to use all of the features but I could not be happier with how it sounds the way I have it set up now. I was hoping to use the electric guitar modeling amps built into it but I haven't found any out of the box settings that I'd use live. Just want a simple crunch and a clean sound I can be proud of but haven't figured that part out yet. I'm not a great guitar amp setting mind so I've always struggled getting the sounds I want to come out of my amps. But with acoustic and voice only!? WOW WOW WOW!!!
