[Passive 2-Way] Bought the speakers for a large group (60+ people) and had plenty of volume for PA and background music. The mic anti-feedback thing didn't work that well, but I was using a separate mixer and two speakers run separate. They crank up fine and have some good base. If you love base and want your chest to pound, these are not for you. Go with 15 instead. I would say they are on the low side of 1000W, but plenty to have the neighbors call the cops.

[Class-D] As always, Bose products have no competition, we bought the amplifier and 2 speakers, plus we use few more Bose devices at home with the same amplifier. Also we use it as a group and we are very happy with the features and the quality of the sound. We love it.

[Lithium-ion] I use this product to connect non bluetooth devices such as speakers to bluetooth devices. It is very easy to set up and use and works very well.
