[1] From time to time, I need the use the guitar input of my amplifier for a second microphone input - this gizmo enables me to do that withous issues.

A zillion years later they did and it is fine.

The Quik-Loc is perfect for getting the guitars against the wall and out of harms way. The supports ensure that the instruments do not bang against each other (better than any others I researched). The product is sturdy and the dimensions are compact. Exactly what I was looking for.

[28 x 7 x 4.5"] I got fed up with cheap wobbly stands so bought this instead. Love it. It's very stable, and guitar is not going to fall over even if a toddler or a dog hits it. The auto locking mechanism is cool, adding to the safety aspect. Jackson Soloist guitar's tuner pushes down on the foam of the locking mechanism a bit and creates an indent on the foam. Not sure what the long term implication of that will be, but so far so good.
