Guitar Talk Box

[VA LCD] Talk about plug and play....after I opened the box, set the monitor on its' stand, plugged in my HDMI input, and pressed the on button, the image popped onto the screen. That was it! I recommended this monitor!

[0.75 to 4.5x] I'm using this as a talk back headphone feed to my talent in a voice booth. I have a complicated multi-channel headphone mixer/amp that can give a whole band a custom mix, but there's no mic input. So I used to have a complicated setup just to have someone do a bit of narration or whatever. With this little box, you have a simple, functional setup where the talent and I can hear each other simply and without affecting the recording. The intended use is more likely to use this for actual program audio feed and monitor for a sound tech or boom operator. I'm sure it will work well for that and I intend to use it that way too. Nice to get multiple uses out of this box as compared to my previous devices that were so cumbersome to use, even for their intended purpose.

[26 dBu] I use this box to have my lead singer sing through one channel and be able to talk to the band on the second channel through their headphone mix.I have used alot of mic switchers and most tend to bleed into the second channel. This box takes it cleanly in to the second channel. Perfect tool for me.

[Yes] I never expect this would be a great idea. Having 2 channel in 1 box was perfect in our music setup. 1 for guitar and 1 for the keyboard. Works flawlessly and built like a tank. Now the question is how long will this last? Overall it's a great product from DBX and the price is right.

[9.83 lb] It's a great little Di box, especially for the price. I recently had to mix a band and i used the three that i purchase here in B&H one to connect the bass guitar, an other one to connect rhythm guitar and the last one to connect a six strings guitar. All of them worked perfectly, the sound to my mixing board was super clear. I strongly recommend to any sound engineer.

[Yes] I’ve been a musician for 33 years and this little guitar-to-midi box is one of the coolest tools I have ever used. Being able to play any sound imaginable on a guitar is a massive capability and this little box powered by a single as battery is the golden ticket. 6 stars!

[Hollow-Body] The original case for my AS-200 might be best characterized as semi-hard shell. It creaked when you picked it up, and the cover had started to peel off in places, so when I had the 41 year-old guitar refurbished, I treated it to a new case. It fits well, and Ibanez is not exactly like other semi-hollows. It's a little big on the lower 'bout. The latches align well, and the case affords enough protection for around-town gigs. As airport luggage I'd double-box or at least wrap the guitar's headstock to prevent movement. The case is a true hard-body. The shell isn't thick but seems strong. It is deeper than it needs to be: the neck inclines as it sets in the case. My only disappointment was in B&H itself, that my particular case was clearly an open-box (tears in the plastic bag the case was in, box had been opened) and should have been sold as such. Couldn't find damage to the case itself, or I would have returned it. Maybe get this case but from another source?

[0.25 lb] I can now use one of my mics in a guitar stomp box for some special effects or jam at a friends putting it in 2nd channel of guitar amp. I got the real thing made by Shure than a knock off for a couple of dollars less.

[+22 dBu] I bought this box to use with in ear headphones as I play on the worship team at church. I play electric guitar and sing, so this works perfectly to let me hear a general mix, my voice, and my guitar. Having the more me knobs available to me is so much simpler than asking the sound guys to turn me up or just singing louder. I can hear every nuance of my playing and singing now, which is a little scary. :) I can tell if I'm singing off axis or too far from the mike when I close my eyes. The sound quality and build quality are amazing. I take a copy of the monitor feed sent to our drummer since we don't have another monitor bus on our sound board. So this is a great, inexpensive solution to our problem. I like that there is a lot of head room on the pots. I turned each of them up to only about 9 o'clock or noon.
