[Lithium-Ion] So far I am loving this sogen. Runs my microwave, and air fryer with no problems. Vacuum cleaner with full power. Tv,router, Roku, washing machine, all without a problem. Tomorrow will hookup pv 400 watts and see how that goes, but so far I am pleased.

[0.04 lb] So far so good! I'd highly recommend adding the trim weight attachment, the vacuum pump, and the second handle right away. The 8inch dome port is super buoyant so the trim weight attachment is a must have for neutral buoyancy and balance.

[0.095 lb] you're not going to win any style points by using this, and if you're in a room above someone (apartment complex, etc), the down-firing beater transmits directly into the floor, so you may want to avoid this. Beyond that, however, it works perfectly fine, and doesn't take up much space. This is my second KD7, the first of which stopped responding to soft hits after about 3 years of abuse (5+ days a week, 2-4 hours a day, on average). I imagine I could've gotten away cheaper w/ a piezo replacement, but I figured I'd order a new one and try to fix the old one eventually. Anyhow... works great.

[Die-cast metal] I use this unit with an old beat up td5 as my second kick mixed into the first. Came with the reverse beater (not the pedal in case you are readin this) and was readily adaptable to any pedal. Seriously happy with it, NO ISSUES!
