Hardshell Camera Trolley Backpack

[Zipper] I searched extensively for a backpack camera bag with a trolley sleeve and that had a sizeable compartment for non-photography gadgets that is easily accessible and found this one. I was pleasantly surprised by the build quality, thoughtful design, and inclusion of a trolley sleeve (most backpacks lack them). It holds its shape, is attractive, and comes with enough adjustable padded inserts for several small lenses and two milc bodies. Price is very competive too, given the quality of the product. I’m pleased and even own Ona and Billingham bags, so my expectations are pretty high.

[Black] I have been researching camera bags for quite awhile, trying to find the right bag for my Canon MKII C100. In all honesty, I'm incredibly picky about having the perfect bag for my gear. I wanted a bag big enough to keep the mic handle intact, including an attached lens, (Canon 24-105) and this is the perfect solution. I take off the shot gun mic windscreen to zip it all up. Inside the bag I have plenty of room for 3 extra lenses (Canon 50mm, Canon 17-55mm, Canon 10-18mm) -- plus cords, mics, batteries, etc. It also fits as a carry-on for when I am traveling. Surprisingly, it's not that heavy. It all fits so well and I'm very happy without it being too cramped inside the bag. I also picked up the accompanying Sachtler trolley system ($) as well and I love it. It snaps on wonderfully or you can just sit your bag on it for easy transport which is great on the back. The trolley wheels seem well-built similar to rollerblades. The bag is incredibly sturdy with rugged zippers. I like how the bag opens up like a doctor bag so it's easy to put the camera in and take out. Super convenient -- plus the little LED light inside works like a charm to light it up when it's dark. If you are wondering, this is essentially the same bag as the Petrol D3 bag, which is a highly reviewed bag, but now discontinued since Sachtler bought out Petrol ... thus the new Dr. Bag - 3 by Sachtler. HIGHLY recommended camera bag!

[18 x 12.6 x 7"] I sometimes use this for a small camera bag but mostly use it as a general backpack.

[42 x 16 x 6"] It's the only hardshell case made to fit the Taylor GS Mini. It's a great fit, seals well and feels like it would take some real abuse while protecting the guitar.

[XLR 3-Pin] This is a very well made boompole. The only two issues iI have with it are the bottom XLR connection and the lack of any case. However, because I got it on sale, I can deal with that (keep on reading). The bottom connection is inconvenient if you have to rest the end of boompole on the ground from time to time during a shoot. So, here is what you need to do: get an angled XLR cable like Kopul M4001.5RC that is also available from B&H. For the case you want a hardshell one, but K-Tek charges an outrageous price for it, so what I suggest is Cavision's Boompole Single Tube Carry Bag model SC804S that you can get for less than $25. It fits very snuggly and it is a hardshell to boot! Enjoy.
