[Blue] Fantastic product. I had an old Canon Pro1 as my intermediate camera. I chose the SX1 as the upgrade. It does everything and the zoom range is huge. My old Pro 1 had a 15 frames per scond video rate. This one is 30 frames and even has a 1980 x 1080p HD mode - fantastic. I do, however, have to upgrade my old MAC G5 standby to display the HD video (works great on my 1080p TV though). But I have been looking for excuses to get a new MAC anyway so this will make me take the step.

[1 x RJ-45] We just got this Gefen Toolbox to downscale a 1080p HD signal to project on a 1080i TV, and it worked flawlessly. No glitches, just plug and play. Our signal was coming from a high resolution camera mounted on a Olympus microscope. We wanted the signal to be projected on multiple TVs with different resolutions. Good product.

[20 to 90%] This thing works wonders for 1920 x 1080p30, p15 captures and livestreaming via xsplit to facebook and Youtube live. I also use it to live capture multi camera views (1 dongle, 1 Logitec HD Webcam and 1 Web connected Droid Cam. Runs warm to the touch, but not hot. I do recommend an extension to your HD and not USB cable for best performance and studio flexability. I also use it along with an i7 930 on an ASUS P6T with 12 GB of memory and 7200 rpm HDD's. The CPU is a little old and gets pushed a bit when doing multi camera and HD 192kHz 24 bit audio streaming runs. But what do you expect for a dinosaur like that. Although you can just plug and play most of the time, I recommend that you update system drivers and dongle software see magwell site. Another point is to make sure your system USB latency is low enough to avoid dropouts and hangs.

[0.235 lb] I'm using it for concerts, where it improves footage that previously looked more like a surveillance camera!

[5 VDC] I use this on my surveillance system with 3 NVR and a workstation. It works great, especially like the ability to share the speakers and microphone between all 4 pieces of gear.

[6.5x] I bought this unit to use as part of an integrated surveillance system for a couple acres deep in Antifastan. The binoculars are mounted on a tripod in the overwatch position, pan and sweep with a nice pod makes using them a dream. Excellent results so far. Learning curve was under 30 minutes.
