Hdmi Input Switcher

[8 W] I use seven of these to convert my IMAG production switcher HD/SDI output to HDMI/DVI input on projectors 550 feet away. The L.E.D. indicators are great for fast troubleshooting and signal confirmation. The dual re-clocked & EQ'ed SDI outputs make cascading the HD/SDI signal easy. Since it automatically adapts to the SDI input signal, I can switch between SD & HD formats seamlessly. I haven't needed to use the 3G SDI format yet but it's good to know it can handle that too.

[OLED] Recommended to me so I didn't fry the input of my video switcher from the sound guys audio board.

[Device: 120 W] I purchased this product to use for live broadcast switching between two cameras. The setup for is very simple, basically plug and play. There are two input ports, one preview port, and one output port. There is also audio input option. The switcher also comes with a dual foot switcher. Setting up the foot switcher is not intuitive and I had to search for the answer on YouTube. You actually have to go into the menu and turn the foot control on before it will work. This was very frustrating as I expected to be able to just plug it in and use it. I am by no means a production engineer so I can only tell you my experience with my limited knowledge, but overall this product does exactly what I expected and I have had zero problems with it! I highly recommend watching videos and reading the manual before use just learn some of the switchers features, there are many. I would definitely recommend this product to anyone with a two camera setup.

[HDMI] I saw the YouTube video on this switcher, which convinced me to purchase it. The results are better than I expected I purchased this switcher to hook up a dvr/cable box, a tuner, a blu-ray player, and a vcr, to my tv (four inputs on the switcher's backside). I have a fifth input on the switcher's frontside if I should need it. The indicator light for the dvr/cable box (input one) is normally on. If I turn on any of the other device, this switcher will automatically switch. This is so nice, that I don't even have to use the switcher's remote control.

[0.7 lb] This little inexpensive HDMI amplifier block was inserted into a line from a consumer camera going to the video switcher in our church. The specs said that the input side should not exceed 80-feet or so. We knew we had exceeded that by about 10-feet and had been warned that the output signal from a consumer-grade camera was not as robust as that from a Blu-Ray player or cable box. There was fear that this unit would not clean up the red sparkles in the picture on black objects we suffered from. But when the booster was inserted in place of a cable coupler close to the switcher input selector the picture jumped to correct color rendering. We are completely satisfied with the product and probably will order another to hold for future use. It performs better than the advertised specs in a tough situation.

[0.76 lb] This device allowed me to connect two computers to the DVI input of a Panasonic switcher. We could switch between a live on the web pc and video playback on mac. The switch was almost seamless, just a millisecond or two of black between computers.

[0.45 lb] We use the PCI Express to input our live stream encoding feed from the program out of our ATEM switcher. The SDI card is simple and to the point. Easy setup. Perfect integration into our Blackmagic system. Exactly what we needed.

[ (1 W)] This A/B switcher is exactly what I was looking for. It's a no frills passive RCA switch that allows you to switch between two outputs and one input or two inputs and one output, depending on what you're looking for. It's small, lightweight, and with robust build quality. The only problem is that it's a bit expensive for an essentially simple piece of technology.
