Headphones With Mic And Usb

[0.2 lb] Works great for ethernet, a USB-C lapel mic, and a webcam. I wish it had an audio port for headphones, but I guess it doesn't need to have everything for it's price. The build quality is a lot higher than I expected, very sturdy. The USB-C male cable (to connect to computer) is a bit short, but that likely improve durability.

I have another review that I wrote about this mic, but B&H's website doesn't appear to let me update that review. I've now been using this mic almost daily for over a year. The audio is crisp and clear, background noise is kept to a minimum, and people on the other end of the meeting/phone call give compliments on the detail that this mic captures. I used to use a condenser mic, but that also had the annoying feature of picking up a lot of 60Hz hum. This mic doesn't do that and I didn't have to make any adjustments to the room either. For the person who mentioned they couldn't fit it in a shockmount, it has one internally. That is why the mic is the size that it is. For those complaining about the USB port, mine hasn't had any issues. I accidentally bent the micro usb connector on the cheap cable they shipped with it and the mic survived just fine. The cable, on the other hand, was useless after that. I solved this problem by finding a 90 degree USB adapter so that the connector isn't pointing straight out the back of the mic. It now sits mostly flush and swiveling the mic is more likely to cause the adapter to disconnect at the other end. If your laptop, like mine, is usb-c only, don't try to buy long usb-c to usb-c cables. They are crazy expensive. Instead, try to buy a usb-c to mini or micro usb-b cable. They are much cheaper. My setup is usb-c to micro usb (10 feet), then an adapter from micro-usb to usb-c (1 inch), and then finally a short usb-c to 90 degree micro-usb adapter (6 inches).

[6.375 lb] After my Samson USB MIC continued to give me connectivity problems, I purchased the AT mic. It worked immediately and came with many cables to provide versatility.

[-10 dB] Mic, Pre-Amp, and Headphone Amp in an all-in-one package! Nice to be able to use a USB mic without the need for a separate pre-amp. Really like the headphone jack incorporated into the unit with separate gain controls for the headphone volume.

[Mono] The Polsen USB Boundary Mic is a great replacement for the internal mic on my laptop. The call quality is much better than the internal mic and I love the ability to just place it next to me and forget about it. I also like that the mute button turns red so that you know it's activated. There is a headphone jack as well which gives you options for how you want to use it. The build quality is awesome and it has some weight to it which is nice. I use this a lot when there is more than one person in the room, given that it is a boundary mic everyone can be heard well on the calls pretty much wherever they sit as long as they are somewhat close. I'm impressed with this mic and will permanently keep it in my bag. [I have received this product in exchange for my honest review.]"
