[15 VDC] This works very well to control the volume individually for each of up to 4 separate pairs of headphones all being fed from the same source.

[ (2 W)] Have a new Takamine and no volume control on the guitar--I put this on my mic stand and it's perfect!!!

[8.5 lb (3.8 kg)] using this to control volume input from high-end piano and output to near field monitors or pair of headphones; works well for intended purpose

[2-Band EQ ] I use this amplifier to do two things, really. It acts as both a volume controller and an output selector for my computer's audio. I purchased this AMP800 to compliment my new Sony MDR-XB500 headphones, and it does a great job of it (they sound awesome). It lets me seamlessly route my music to either my headphones or my desktop speakers and lets me do so without having to adjust the volume control in Windows. The volume/balance control knobs are very smooth and don't give any crackle or static when adjusting. It's got output ports for each channel on both the front and rear of the unit which makes it really convenient to hook up cables where it's easiest to access them (my headphones are connected to the front and my speakers are connected to the rear). The built-in amplifiers are capable of powering all 8 ports (4 independent amplifiers with 2 ports each) simultaneously, if I ever felt the need to hook that many headphones/devices to it. Easily accessible source input volume/balance controls, independent source selector switches, and individual output volume controls with LED level meters made this an easy choice for me. The build quality seems to be pretty decent for the price, and the sound quality is really good. The unit is light weight, so if you need portability, this should be easy to transport. My only gripe is that it requires an adapter for what I use it for; The inputs are individual 1/4 mono plugs, so I had to buy a Y-cable (3.5mm stereo to dual 1/4 mono). B&H has one, and it was relatively inexpensive, so not a real problem. Also keep in mind that all the outputs on the AMP800 are 1/4, so if your headphones have 3.5mm plugs, you'll need adapters (I already had a few, so again, not a problem for me). Overall, I'm very happy with this purchase, and I wouldn't hesitate to do it again.

[Single Channel] I use the headphones as a monitor of Church Video/audio Recordings. The headset volume control connected to the wireless system is perfect for my needs.

[80 Hz to 18 kHz] I have been using these headphones at a local library for months to plug into a PC 3.5 mm headphone jack. The in-line volume control means the world because one doesn't need to keep clicking on the GUI volume control icon every time the volume level changes for each website or video. They also work great plugged into my mobile device for work. The foam earpads are comfortable for long periods and the plastic headpiece is easily adjustable on both sides. This second pair I got for leisure use after taking my first pair to work for use there. Get them while they're still making/selling them! I've seen good earphones disappear from online shelves before. B&H is the way to go.

[20 Hours (BT)] Love the headphones. Bluetooth connects easily. I can control music , volume and accept or end calls. Magnetic connections are a good touch. It help them stay put when not using.

[0.26 lb] Simple and straightforward. Plug one end into the 1/4 jack, the other into your headphones, and now you have volume control. I used it to control the monitor volume on my Denon cassette deck, which did not come with a built in monitor volume control (a lot of cheaper decks did not come with them).

[0.045 lb] If you have mic'd headphones, then this TRRS is useful for monitoring and recording on a lightning input iPhone.
