Hercules Computer Speakers Review

[Hardware] I previously purchased the Hercules DJ Monitor 42 speakers and was quite impressed by their sound and quality. I wanted a little more power even though they are both 80 watts but the Hercules Monitor 5 has a separate amp in each speaker while the Monitor 42's have one amp supplying both speakers. They sound great, the bass rolls, the mids are excellent and the high's are clear. Much recommended for studios and what I use it for is my laptop to hear music and games.

[1920 x 1080] [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I know this monitor is intended to be used with a computer, but i got to thinking, my new Xbox is technically a computer so why not. Hooked it up and BOOM, I was gaming! I do wish it had built in speakers but for how amazing The game looks on this Monitor, I will live with hooking up external speakers of some kind. The refresh rate is astonishing! My 12 year old is a tech junkie and he sat with me, just as amazed as I was at the picture on the screen and the clarity and how much is doesn't lag!! My gaming skills have drastically improved! I will most definitely be purchasing HyperX products from now on!
