[Mini-USB] This adapter works perfect with my Hero 7, but not at all on the Hero 9. The hero 9 doesn't have the menu option to enable the external mic connection. It seems like the firmware needs an update to enable it. Same problem wit TRS and TRRS sources. It just doesn't work on the Hero 9 as of Sep 20, 2020. I am on the phone with support as I type this, and they made me reset the camera and do a manual update. Nothing works. They claim the support ticket will be escalated internally at their support team. 5 |
