Hewlett Packard 1040 Fax Machine Manual

[3000 Pages] For the last time I've coughed up $150 for print cartridges for a Hewlett-Packard, never again! SuperTank bottles are $12-$14 and have twice as much ink and a HP cartridge. Seems to print every bit as nicely as HP but costs WAY less to operate.

[Yes] Our B615 office system is great. Copier, fax, and email all in one machine. Easy to use and very fast.

[10.47 lb] I use scanner for online faxing: scan documents and send them through online fax service to fax machine. I also use chromebook. But I like the functions of this machine, and I have 1 pc to use it. I am surprised to find out that Canon has android and chrome apps that allows me to use my chromebook to connect to this machine. The wi-fi connection is my decision point vs. other model which gives me the flexibility to place this machine in a convenient location. In the PC software you can choose to save scanned documents to a local drive. In the chrom app, you can choose to connect with your mail app (gmail) and after the scan, the document becomes an attachment in a email. I then use the email to fax service to send fax. High speed; space saving design; simple and efficient interface.

[8.5 Seconds] It was finally time to upgrade my 2003 HP laser printer / fax machine combo and take the opportunity to go wireless. I don’t print often, but I love the convenience of printing at home. I found the whole set-up to be straightforward. I had it on the wifi and working in no time. The prints look great. I was going to just get another HP printer, but after reading all the reviews about the required subscription, I ruled that out right away.

[ Touchscreen] I received this product in exchange for my unbiased opinion.My business uses multiple all-in-one print/copy/scan/fax machines on a daily basis so I was very excited to have the opportunity to try this product.Pros- This machine is much quicker than any I have used in the past. The rate at which it produces copies far exceeded my expectations. Making double sided copies from two separate pages and copying double sided forms is such a breeze with this model. It's also extremely quiet compared to any other similar printers we've had in the past. The setup was very easy but I've only had about ten days to use it so I'm still learning all of its capabilities. Cons- The machine itself is quite large and very heavy. (We have it in its permanent location now so the weight of it shouldn't be a factor in the future). The quality of the printing isn't as sharp or crisp as with other printers we use currently. We still send old school faxes on a daily basis and this machine doesn't seem to have an option to print a confirmation after a fax has been sent. It's a minor detail that wouldn't keep me from purchasing it but it would be a beneficial option for our office.Also, the keypad is extremely sensitive, it types in things you are not touching and sometimes takes multiple taps to register a number. I looked into the toner cartridge price and it appears to be around $100, a little steep, but it only does black to I think it might be a savings in the long run over our color printers. Overall, I am thrilled with the product. The speed and quietness are far beyond what I expected! We love it!
