Hewlett Packard Australia Printer Drivers

[3000 Pages] For the last time I've coughed up $150 for print cartridges for a Hewlett-Packard, never again! SuperTank bottles are $12-$14 and have twice as much ink and a HP cartridge. Seems to print every bit as nicely as HP but costs WAY less to operate.

[Yes] We are a non-profit and needed a reasonably priced id card printer and this one is working great. We use AlphaCard card system. This is printer is basically plug-n-play. Make sire you install the drivers. The native Windows drivers do not play well AlphaCard card system.

[30 lb] I had been using a Micrroboards G4 printer for years. It is now a dinosaur, and very hard to get printer ink and there have been no updates for any drivers since Windows 7. It finally gave up the ghost and I decided to try the Bravo SE-3. I am absolutely delighted with the print quality! Right out of the box everything was calibrated and my first test print of one of my designs was absolutely flawless. This printer is much faster than my old one and I haven't had any jams or miss printed discs. I am absolutely delighted with this printer! Set up was very simple with no problems and I was up and running within 5 minutes of starting the whole set up process. My two previous Microboard printers required a great deal of time to calibrate and even get the software to load. Not this one! My only minor complaint is that the manufacturer needs to update their easy set up sheet. It says that there are software discs included but that isn't true. You have to go online and download the software, which is very quick and only a few megabytes. But there's no indication of that in the included documentation with the printer. Other than that it was very simple, and tech-support was prompt and efficient. I called them, they answered promptly, telling me to go to the website to download the software. So Primera, please revise that set up instruction sheet (dated 2016) to reflect that you download the drivers and design software! Ordering was super easy, and the printer arrived exactly when promised and in perfect shape.

[31.53 lb] Awesome printer. I don't understand why it gets bad reviews. I think that what bothers most people is that it comes with a CD to install the drivers, and computers do not use CDs any more, but you can download the drivers from Canon's website. The installation of the software is made in two steps. First, configure the wireless connection with the printer via your WiFi connection, then install the drivers for your computer. There is a wealth of videos on YouTube that explain how to do so. Also, if you install two tiny apps on your Android device, you can also print wirelessly from your phone. It is an awesome printer without the hassle of inkjet devices (and the expensive cartridges). It is a basic B&W printer for basic needs. I love it.

[CMY, Overcoat] The DS620A is amazing. I've used it at two events so far with the 5x7 media. The print quality is outstanding and it's incredibly fast. Faster than my assistant could send prints to it. But the number one reason to buy this printer is how easy it is to use. DNP has done a stellar job with the print drivers. The driver installer has worked flawlessly on 3 Windows computers and I was printing within minutes each time. If you've ever spent hours trying to get Shinko printer drivers to work like I have, you'll now just how awesome this is. I'm a DNP convert! I bought the Nanuk 945 hard case for the printer. It doesn't have wheels, but it's the perfect size as it holds the printer, 2 rolls of paper and ink, the cables and the tray. Loaded up it's a pretty heavy affair, but highly protective.

[256 MB] My problems were in getting the printer setup and printing. Specifically installing the software. I am not new to this having done IT work previously. This is obviously a new machine and that seemed to be the major problem. Plus I was hampered by slow download speeds as I have a satellite connection. First off I couldn't find this printer to load the proper software, it was the second day before I found it. I kept trying to install the software and drivers but the data was not getting to the machine, no drivers were installed. On the 4th morning I went to the support site and got a new front page which took me to the downloads for this printer. Most of this was the same methods I'd been following already but there was a difference at the end because this time all the data transferred to the machine like it was supposed to. This machine prints documents very fast and full page photos only slightly slower. The images are very sharp and clear. The photos print exactly as the original. Now that it is setup I am very pleased with this product. I think Brother specifically provided me with new software that worked. Perhaps I was among the first to try and load this software and the process had a glitch or two. So, Thanks Brother for the assistance.
