[0.045 lb] When buying the Rode VideoMic X, there is really only one option for XLR cables. We're very lucky that these are such high quality, and produce perfect results. The length is a little short, so if you want to record to an external recorder, you essentially need to mount the recorder to the mic. But the connections are rock solid, the cable itself is very high quality and overall im very impressed with the audio quality.

[1.05 lb] I own several Zoom products, F1,F2, F6 and now the F3. The F3 is a recorder whose light weight makes it extremely portable, for example when integrated into a video camera rig. The recorder produces very high quality 32-bit float files. There are two xlr connectors which allow you to attach two high quality mics in your camera rig, or you could use two wireless adapters, like the excellent xVive system, if you want to make high quality recordings at a distance from the rig.

[5 V] High quality: I use it for Ninja Athom recorder with Sony AS 7iii . It is enough for non stop 6 hours filming (1 buttery) happy with this purchase. Highly recommend.

[Aluminum] I had been on the phone with techs from Sennheiser and other companies trying to get my Sennheiser SW100g3 rig working with my new Hydrogen 1, or any phone for that matter, as being able to film a thing with great audio at a distance onto a phone factor video cam was the holy grail for me. It means better video with less gear to carry, allowing more situations for high quality filming and audio no longer a problem. All the techs basically said it could not be done. I tried a LOT of adapters. But with this one, I didnt just get success, but a high quality stereo file for the recorded audio. I had to use 3rd party camera software and click a few things here and there, but it worked brilliantly.  If you need to use a pro audio recorder on your phone form video recorder, this will do it if your device has a USB-C io.

[4.7 lb] My new Zoom H6 audio recorder purchased from B&H is excellent. It does everything I need it to do for recording high quality audio files. I'm pairing this recorder with 2 SHURE SM48 dynamic microphones also purchased from B&H. So far I'm a happy camper with this device!

The 4K video capture is a speciality and once I learn how to use it in the right settings, I will use it often. I am thrilled that you can connect this unit to a power source and not use the battery source. If you need something that will get the job done quickly and upload to the social media circuit. BUY THIS RECORDER !!! GET THE POWER CABLES THAT WORK WITH IT.
