[6 x 5.8 x 1.8"] I got this to use a 4x4 Hollywood Black Magic filter on my BMMCC rig. perfect for my needs. It pops on and off with no issues on my 77mm step up ring that also holds my IR cut screw on filter. Never had a problem with it coming off while shooting and I put down and pick up my camera fairly often during a shoot (i swap between my video rig and still rig while shooting). Awesome product from an attentive American company with great customer service.

[82 mm] The Hollywood Black Magic filter creates a very cinematic look without too much halation or glow. The 1/8th strength is the lowest, but is still quite visible when compared to unfiltered. This filter pairs very well with the 1/4 strength. With the 1/8th being less obvious on wide shots and the 1/4 offering more effective diffusion on closeup shots. Don't leave home without them.

[0.145 lb] The 1/8 Strength Hollywood Black Magic Filter is the foundation to any good kit. (1/8th strengths are the building blocks to any filter, with the exception to Radiant Soft Series filters - there you want to start at a "1" and work your way up). This 1/8th Hollywood Black Mist (HBM) filter is a rockstar. My other filters talk about it when I put it to bed and close the latches on my filter case. Every cinematographer that owns their own filters should have this filter in their kit. Don't mess around and chew the eraser of your pencil while thinking about cheaper brands that offer something similar. Clients and directors know the Schneider brand and you should too. With that said, get your life together and add this to your collection. If you really want to go nuts, get the 1/8th & the 1/4 strength filter. I personally have the previously mentioned strengths AND the 1/2. Between you and me, the 1/8th filter is usually always in my matte box and I don't think I've ever used the 1/2 HBM, but hey, I have the option. www.powersfilms.com

[0.24 lb] The Schneider 4 x 5.65 Hollywood Black Magic 1/2 Filter is a staple in my gear, essential for giving my footage a professional and polished look on nearly every project. It masterfully softens imperfections while maintaining image clarity, adding a cinematic quality to the visuals. The filter's ability to blend diffusion with a gentle glow around light sources enhances scenes with a subtle, flattering effect. Built to last and fit seamlessly into professional setups, it's a vital tool for filmmakers seeking to elevate their visual storytelling. This filter truly transforms and refines footage, making it an indispensable asset for achieving high-quality, cinematic results.

[Brass] The other or filters that work this well are super expensive. This the filter to buy if you are using heavy nd on a black magic camera.
