[12 VDC at 300mA] I bought my wife a Karaoke machine for Christmas which was two 1/4 microphone inputs on it. I was thinking how cool it would be to have wireless mics so people could hand them off as songs changed, instead of being limited by a cord, and having to swap seats. The WMS40 fit the bill PERFECTLY. I was a little concerned, with the low price, that the quality wouldn't be there, but the system is static free and sounds GREAT! I used balanced 1/4 cables (pulled from patchbay) to connect the microphone base unit to the Karaoke machine. The distance from the singers to the base unit is under 30 feet so I can't speak for the range of the unit.

[<1%] I needed something fast for a public talk and I have no expertise in AV. This is basically a karaoke machine with 2 mics, super fast set up and was good to go in 5-10 minutes. It is completely adequate for speaking engagements. The speaker is a little larger than I would have liked but it was a good purchase for novices who just need to get up and going asap.

[On/Off] I used it a few times now for just home karaoke and can't complaint about the quality of this entry microphone. Worth every penny.

[8 ohms] It was perfect for my home karaoke. The third microphone input is great. My kids had some friends came over and they used all 3 microphones. It is integrated nicely with my current stereo. The CD+G karaoke player, which was a gift from my in-laws, connected to this Mixer and then the audio output Mixer is connected to my (cassette) tape input on my Pioneer receiver. The video output from CD+G goes straight to TV. Great sound! We have used it for 2 weeks and there was no problem.My wife loved it when I had the Delay at maximum. I had the Repeat in the middle and Digital Echo at 1 o'clock. I still have to figure out what Vocal Cancel and Vocal Partner buttons do.

[Solid-State] I bought this product to use in a home karaoke environment. It already comes with TRS jacks on very robust cords. For the price, this is one of the best corded microphones you can buy. The sound quality is excellent and the microphone is very, very resistant to feedback and rejection. Not to mention the fact that there's plenty of cord length. Very versatile piece of equipment.

[End Address] I'm not a pro but as compared with all the microphones we used at home with the Karaoke system set up, this microphone tops it all. I love how clear it sounds. I only wished there was an on off switch but. Can't really complain. =)
