This desk provides me with the work space in need for both, organized and All components at my fingertips. I can effortlessly transition between my projects and process and have this desk to thank for that professional and creative look and feel of my space. The quality of the build is outstanding. The directions were clear and organized The only draw back with this process was waiting on final confirmation of shipping from manufacturer to ensure I was home to receive. Highly recommend.

[Black] I added a second microphone to my home voiceover studio, but needed to mount the new mic on the same end of the desk as the current mic (and the new mic was a Senn 460 shotgun) so the riser made it easier to have two mic booms mounted next to each other, and also put the shotgun mic up in the air more to angle down toward me. I pre-drilled the wood desk top, mounted the base with four good screws, and it was ready to go.

[1/8" (3.5 mm)] I use this in my home studio for recording. Has a lot of bells and whistles if you need them. Mostly, I just use it to manually tap out the drums and percussion while recording but it is certainly capable of much, much more. I love the variety of sampled drum kits and the recorded sound is indeed authentic. I doubt most people would guess it's not performed by a real drummer.
