[Black] I was using an AKG dynamic mic in my home studio, and I bought this to get a more crisp sound to my voice. From the second I turned this on, there was a noticeable difference, and it sounds extremely accurate. I am using a reflection filter and an Alesis USB mixer/preamp. Definitely recommend this mic!

[Mono] The Shure SM57 is a world class microphone. It's been around for ages and, while that doesn't have to mean much because some mics such as the SM58 I find to be always an inferior option, I think with the 57 Shure have really nailed it. I bought this for a recording session for an acoustic guitarist I work with. The mic sounded great on each guitar he brought in. Or rather the guitars all sounded great through it. Naturally you'll want to do additional processing for a polished recording but this mic offers such a wonderful sound on all it captures. Just a little EQ & compression along with any time based effects will really make your source material shine. I now primarily use this as a vocal mic live and in the studio. It works wonderfully for that as well. Live I use no additional processing and in the studio I get pretty effect heavy. In both situations it stands up. The Shure SM57 is at home in anyone's studio or live rig and I truly believe Shure will probably be manufacturing this microphone for all eternity with good reason.

[Unidirectional] i use this Pyle PDMIC78 microphone for home recording on guitar amps, snare drum and vocals. very sturdy construction and very easy to get a great sound from it. the only thing i didn't like was the XLR to 1/4cable that comes with it. sounds much better with a XLR-XLR low impedance cable. i can't believe the low price! it is impossible to go wrong with this purchase and B&H shipped it to me lightning fast Thanks!

[Mono] It's a great Microphone Pack! Used for home recording and live playing, it worked great, very good quality, great response! And I used the condensers mic for acoustic guitar and it worked very well! (sorry for bad english, I'm not american!)

[Gray] I'm a voice over actor and was previously using a usb condenser microphone for at home recording. I don't have the best sound proofing so decided to pick up a Dynamic mic and the Shure SM7B was the most recommended. It's been great as I don't have to fix as much in post with room tone and sounds coming from other rooms

[1/8" (3.5 mm)] I use this in my home studio for recording. Has a lot of bells and whistles if you need them. Mostly, I just use it to manually tap out the drums and percussion while recording but it is certainly capable of much, much more. I love the variety of sampled drum kits and the recorded sound is indeed authentic. I doubt most people would guess it's not performed by a real drummer.
