If you have high end electronics such as tv’s , home theater equipment or computer desk top you’ll need a good quality surge protector at lest 2000 joules or higher I’m using this for my tv and home theater equipment and Wi-Fi router. Also has protection for phone line and network. Surges come from outside when you have a power outage and the electric company restarts your service and from inside of you home, each time your AC turns on and off can cause a surge from inside your home.

[Particle Board] [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This surge protector has more than enough outlets for my needs, and I find it particularly convenient that the outlets are arranged on two sides. Often, I am unable to comfortably plug in certain appliances because there is not enough space to do so. I like the safety covers too which prevents visiting little fingers from sticking them into places they should not. You have the ability to mount the surge protector on the wall, which is something I definitely want to do to save space. I am looking to set up a home theater in the very near future and will need the coaxial cable protection features for peace of mind. I no longer have a land line, but the phone line feature will be a godsend to those that do. Of course, the main reason for liking this product is that I am now fully protected as far as the appliances that are plugged into it are concerned.

I love that it has an outlet on top and botton for my bigger plugs and also the end outlet can accommodate a bigger longer plug as well. The last surge protector I had did not have them and my bigger plugs would cover up multiple oulets. I love that it has a small green power light and a small red grounded light so that you know it is working. If you need a 7 outlet surge protector look no further.
