It is very useful to extend a Windows 10 laptop with a USB-C video output to two external 1920x1080 or 1920x1200 monitors along with other wired USB Type-A accessories like a keyboard and mouse. To have two external monitors, you must have Windows (not a Mac) and you must use the Mini DisplayPort output for one of the monitors with a cable that connects directly to a Mini DisplayPort or DisplayPort input on a monitor. Also, make sure that you connect it to a USB-C port on your laptop that supports video output. I have a laptop that uses the integrated graphics of an i7-8550U Intel processor connected to 2 HP 2415U 1920x1200 monitors, one using HDMI and the other using the Mini DisplayPort to DisplayPort cable that comes with the monitor, and it works great. This allows you to have a 3-display setup at work (including the laptop display) that only requires a single cable to connect and disconnect your laptop as you start and end your work day. It was 4 stars for me because all of this was not obvious and required some research and experimentation on my part, but now it is 5 stars now that I know how to use it for 3 displays. [M.2] [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Looking for a dock that would work with both our recent MacBooks and HP EliteBooks with USB-C. Worked very well with HP driving 2 external displays from either 2 displayport or 1 displayport & 1 HDMI. MacBook was able to drive both displays (extended) only when one was connected via DisplayPort and the other was connected using a USB-C to HDMI adapter. Dock was able to charge both laptops from single Thunderbolt connector. Exceptional quality. Five stars!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Needed the "HP DisplayPort to HDMI True 4K Adapter" to connect my existing Display to my new HP Z2 G5 Tower. Although I had a 4K HDMI cable on my old PC the Picture Quality with this arrangement was OUTSTANDING. The fact that it hangs down behind the Tower means I can push the PC further back on the desk giving me more room. A solid one piece adaptor would not be advisable.

[0.39 lb] The Pearstone USB C to DisplayPort 4k Cable (15') is a super long well made cable. I primarily use this cable to run a preview monitor from my MacBook pro to a client or other crew member. It keeps extra people out of the main area where I am working and it does a great job of this since it's so long. There isn't a ton to say about a cable but this is built well, supports 4k, and is super long so I'm happy. (I received this item in exchange for my honest review)

[10 to 80% ()] It's always better to have single cable, than to use an adapter and a cable. This one does the job of connecting a DisplayPort to HDMI device.

[Copper] Need this because my video card, even though having dual DVI , HDMI, and DisplayPort... can't operate three monitors in a DVI + DVI + HDMI configuration. But, DVI + DVI + DisplayPort works.This adapter solved that problem when connecting an external HDMI LCD TV as a third monitoring source for video editing and playback.
