[1.4 lb] The Baader 4.5mm Morpheus eyepieces is a real keeper. The eye relief is very nice, the image is sharp from edge to center, the wide field really can deliver a spacewalk experience at times. On my 4 premium refractor, the eyepiece delivers amazing sharpness and contrast at 159X (almost 40x per inch), leaving me wanting even more magnification when the seeing permits. I now have a set of five Morpheus eyepieces and there is not a clunker in the lot: I expect to use the eyepieces for many years to come. This is a five star product. 5 |

[2"] I don't know much about eyepieces but I do have 4 explorer scientific. The 4.5mm and 8.5mm 82 degree, the 17mm 92 degree and the 30mm 82 degree. I like them all but I really like the 17mm and 30mm. I can't give any technical details but I can tell you that the 30mm is a pleasure to look through. The same can be said for the 17mm. It would be hard to choose between the two if i could only have one. I guess I would have to go with the 17mm because of the wide field of view plus greater magnification but i would really miss the 30mm. And I would definitely go with B&H, i recently tried another store in NJ and got ........ 5 |

[27.5mm f/1.23] Used these to replace eyepiece covers on Celestron/Meade 11x80 4.5 degree field of view binoculars, from the 1990's I think. Works better than the original covers, deeper for better protection. Hangs perfectly off neck strap. Inside diameter is 35 mm, slightly stretchy rubber. Depth is 20 mm. 5 |
