[Laser] [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This HP all in one printer is a solid machine that faxes, copies and scans. It is nice to see that there is still an all in one that is not wireless because to truly have an encrypted fax machine (necessary for insurance, medical and some legal documents and or correspondence) the machine needs to be hard wired. Overall the printer is a sturdy well made machine. It's fast, prints clear concise documents and is easy to set up and even easier to use. I definitely recommend this printer.

[8.5 Seconds] It was finally time to upgrade my 2003 HP laser printer / fax machine combo and take the opportunity to go wireless. I don’t print often, but I love the convenience of printing at home. I found the whole set-up to be straightforward. I had it on the wifi and working in no time. The prints look great. I was going to just get another HP printer, but after reading all the reviews about the required subscription, I ruled that out right away.

[1200 x 800 dpi] I replaced an aging and ink guzzling HP printer with this Work Smart Series Brother printer. Although both machines are at the same relative price point, the Brother printer has more functionality for my needs and (so far) is much more economical to run. Setting up the machine wasn't too taxing and I've managed to print several documents directly from my smart phone, which has turned out to be a real time saver. The print quality and speed are both more than adequate. All in all, this machine has exceeded my expectations. My only concern is that the bracket onto which the printed sheet is delivered, while being a clever little piece of engineering, is not particularly robust.
