Ic Real Time Digital Video Recorder

[0.1 lb] The battery is for my son's digital video recorder. It was used extensively for only about 10 days and worked very well, no complains. What will happen later we don't know but hope for best.

[2-Pin LEMO] Video always lags real time audio by about 1/15 second. You can often ignore it, or delay the audio to eliminate it altogether. The Shogun 7 records up to 4 cameras plus the switched program video. Injecting the sound at this point minimizes the lag. If you do it in a computer, for example, the video latency is not only much greater, but inconsistent depending on the processor and I/O loading. I record separately and sync in post. With this cable, you can use balanced outputs from the mixer, and all the videos are in sync. Thats less work at the bench.

[512 MB] I replaced my 4 Avid HDX converters with this and it was as though a vail was lifted from Pro Tools. The amount of high quality audio conversion Antelope packed into this box is dizzying. But, to also add a digital patchbay, real-time zero latency audio plugins, real-time conversion to and from various digital formats and more is insane. Then there's the Thunderbolt connection and high resolution master grade stereo out, which is a thing of beauty. I really don't know how I managed before buying this thing! It is now the nerve center of my entire pro studio, which features 32 channels of audio I/O plus another 32 over dante, which feed 64 channels of HDX i/o. And, these are all interconnected via the built in patch bay. This one unit high box replaced an entire rack of gear. One of my best purchases ever.

[1 x Snoot] I recently dove into the video with your dslr world. Video is great, but audio not so much. So using a recorder - Zoom h4n, a good combination was made. But when the recorder is connected to the camera on the hotshoe, the screen it facing up. This makes it hard to see levels and changes things if needed if i need to view the video at the same time. In comes this handy device - The hotshoe mount. Now once this is connected to the hotshoe of the camera, I can angle the Zoom on the ball mount, allowing it to face me directly so I can view my levels and video at the same time. I'm thinking of buying additional mounts, as it has many other uses other than just sitting on the hotshoe of a camera.
