Imac Computer Speakers

[5.0] I read extensive reviews about these speakers for use by my iMac computer. So... I took a chance. When I opened the packaging they arrived in, I knew I was in for a treat. The way these were wrapped and packaged, it was clear that they were of premium quality. After connecting them to my computer, what a joy. I have a degree in music so I may be a bit more discriminating than some. They look great, too. The down side... It's too easy to spend even more time at my computer with the music I love.

[DDR3] Memory was exactly right for an Imac. Worked first time, now 10 year old computer is fast enough!

[260-Pin SO-DIMM] I just doubled the RAM in my iMac 2017 and my computer is running so much better. I wish I would have changed out sooner!

[FM] I use this to power my outdoor speakers off my computer, and it works great!!!!!

[1.15 lb] Set this up with an iMac going out to split between A) powered speakers and B) headphones. It works perfectly, and I don't detect any background noise or interference, despite being close to the computer and monitors. Seemed expensive, but worth it compared to what I was using.

[Zipper] I got this for two reasons: 1. Didn't want to reach to the back of the iMac every time I wanted to use headphones. When plugged in, this hangs about 2 inches below the bottom of the screen and is easy to reach to plug in headphones. 2. Didn't want to use the headphone jack on the iMac for risk of wearing it out over time with the switch inside getting stuck on headphone mode which would prevent sound from built in speakers. The item looks very well made and durable. The sound quality is crystal clear with no hiss or pops. NOTE: when you plug a headphone in, it does not automatically switch to headphone mode. That has to be done manually in the operating system (both MAC OS, and Windows/BootCamp). Simple procedure of switching to GHW USB Audio. One might think this is a hassle but it's not because this way you can leave the cable plugged into your USB-C Port and still have sound via the internal speakers. In fact, you can leave the headphone also plugged in and still have sound via internal speakers until you choose otherwise.

[72 dB] Good Price for attractive decent sounding computer speakers.

[0.3 lb] I love this little speaker, It sounds as good as my bose speakers that i have for my computer
