[0.05 lb] I use the in ears with my Iphone and on stage as in ear monitors. Wonderful sound, warm bass and crisp highs for all around great clarity.

[>110 dB] There are a ton of expensive wireless in-ear systems out there for performers to hear themself without having to lug huge monitors around that take up stage space. But as a bass player I really didn't need a wireless system as I was tethered by my guitar chord already. I first looked at passive belt clip style wired types but settled for a battery powered active wired unit. It worked really well straight out of the box. I could select mono or stereo. It was compact and easy to use and I could boost the volume if the band got louder. But we generally found as all the members switched to in-ear units, our stage volume was noticeably quieter. I would strongly recommend this neat and compact unit.

[Yes, on Cable] I have used many ear-buds for wireless in-ear monitoring of my stage performances. For this use it is important to me that: 1. The ear-buds do not fall off my ears while I move during my performance; 2. The frequency response of the ear-buds is good enough to hear highs, mids and some low end frequencies (I don't need much of the latter, since I can feel the bass from the sub-woofers we use near the stage); 3. The ear-buds provide an undistorted sound; 4. The ear-buds are as less visible as possible; 5. They fit comfortably in the ears; 6. They have a reasonable price. The Shure SE215 do all that better than any other ear-buds I have ever used before, including the Bose ones, which are great ear-buds and have all the characteristics I'm looking for, except that they are too visible and look kind of ugly on stage photos (and, thus, to the audience).

[+35 dB] We purchased this to use with a Presonus Studiolive mixer.It will give anyone who doesnt need to move around on the stage the ability to use in-ear monitors. And with the Presonus app, they can adjust their own mix with their iphone. It is wired, but the battery power will let us connect with only one cord.
