Infinity 16 Central Air Conditioner

[Manual Focus] Tested against the 16-35 f4 @ 16mm, the Laowa has incredible clarity and sharpness (and I liked the zoom better than the Batis 18 I had a while back). Flare has not been an issue either. I was also surprised at how compact the lens is, even after comparing it at the camerasize site. It's similar in size to the Loxia and 55 1.8 with just some extra width near the front. Build is great, focus ring is firm. I've read from several users that infinity is right in the middle of the infinity marker, that is also the case with mine and is convenient for landscapes without a very close foreground element. However, with astro, I have found setting it to the middle of the right infinity loop (focused just slightly closer than infinity mentioned above) is ideal. The coma demonstrated on review sites isn't bad in my opinion, but when I focus like this, the coma is even further reduced with insignificant changes to the central frame. And any foreground will also be a bit better as a bonus.

[1.75 lb] Infinity focus was spot on, great lens for the price. Sharper than the Canon 16-35mm F2.8 at the corners for astrophotography. I use the canon 24-105mm F4 if I need autofocus for general use. You could by both lenses for the price of the 16-35mm F2.8

[3/8"-16 Male] If you want stability Gitzo is your best choice. The standard is the right height for me without the central column.
