Internal Hard Drive For Desktop Computer

[Fabric] I need CD blanks to first backup my computer, in case of external/internal hard drive failure. And to copy/burn and to store relevant data. So I choose Verbatim because they are highly reliable and I have had success with them before.

[500 GB] The Western Digital 1TB Desktop Performance Caviar Black HDD Retail Kit (WD1003FZEX) is a quality internal computer hard drive. The B&H store sells this drive at a very reasonable price, and provides fast shipping. I've used it on a refurbished desktop computer and expect to get over five years of service. I plan on purchasing more of these dives to provide a second data drive and a portable external hard drive this I can depend on. There are no negatives about this drive.

[0.255 lb] This drive carrier adapter is simple, well constructed and fit the internal drive carrier/backplane of my Lenovo desktop perfectly. Perhaps best of all, it seems to have no impact whatsoever on drive performance. I'm getting full SATA3 throughput (just under 500MB/s) on the attached SSD. While I found a few cheaper options while researching this product, I'd always been happy with Sonnet's adapter cards in the past - this one is no exception and seems worth the added cost.
