[Omnidirectional] I currently have two other versions of this Lav. This is a unique addition to those. I will be using this on my iPhone since they did away with the headphone jack! Works great for memo recording and also live streaming. I will be using this for youtube uploads that require little to no editing so I can quickly plug in, record and upload with better audio. The cord is a good length and I am loving it so far. Whats also great is that this does not require a battery like my other wired units and there is a headphone jack if you need to monitor yourself! [Omnidirectional] I used this splitter for a conference where there wasn't a way to get an main audio out to record the presenter. I used the JIB/Y Jack in the Box to split the speaker's mic before going into the system amp so I could get a clean recording of the presenter. Worked Great! 5 |

[Yes] This splitter is working great. I have used the XLR to 3.5 jack on my camera in the past. Now I leave my XLR adapters in both channels on my Canon XF-400 and XF605 on my camera and use these. Easier to connect and disconnect. Also gives me two channels for my Rode Go II wireless mic. 5 |
