Jbl 400 Gaming Headset

There is only word to describe this gaming headset on my PS5, "WOW"!!! I do own the Sony H9's but this JBL 910P Blows it out of the water. Crystal clear dialog w Thumping Bass. In addition living in a New York City apartment with constant noise day and night I was surprised with it's Noise Cancelation. With so many switches on the headset I'm not sure if it was even activated, however just putting the headset on for the first time canceled all the noise outside. I'm not into RGB too much but I have to say the blue lights look pretty cool. I've only owned this masterpiece for one day but there is so much for me to explore with all of it's functions. I am going to try them with my PC next for music. I'm sure they will rock. Lastly, if you plan on ordering the 910 or 910p which is pretty much the same JBL product, there is something very important you should keep in mind, it's the dongle that comes with it. It will be wrapped in white paper. When I opened it I was like where is the second dongle? You need to pull the top part off where the arrow is to seperate the 2. I thought it was missing and contacted JBL's Excellent customer service for help. They were very helpful and polite and know their stuff. Thank You JBL for such a Wonderful Headset.

[1] First Gaming headset I have purchased. I’ve used jbl speakers in my cars before so I knew the sound would be good it man was I impressed!

[Yes, on Cable] [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I want to start out by saying that the JBL Quantum 400 headphones are by far the most comfortable pair of headphones I own. I can play for hours on end with no discomfort to my ears. I've always had great luck with JBL audio products, and this gaming headset is no exception. It delivers the goods with this headset, which has a great array of features. The JBL Quantum Engine app is great as well. Very easy to use and a nice range of features. You can change the color profile of the RGB JBL logo on the ear cups, which is cool. You have equalizer settings, as well as the ability to choose DTS or QuantumSURROUND which is what I typically use. You can also update the firmware on the headphones from the app, which is awesome!

[AAC, LHDC, SBC] [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] With so many different companies developing earbuds and headphones to improve sound quality and user experience, JBL never fails. The Quantum TWS exceeded my expectations and more in terms of usability, flexibility and overall experience. I've always used JBL for many applications from gaming to working out on the daily. I've also used other brands such as Bose, Beats, and Apple AirPods. In my opinion, it's a very close competition, however, these JBL earbuds have the best value out of all the competitors in this price range. Here are some pros and cons: The sound is amazing right out of the box! The equalizer in the JBL app lets me customize sound tuning to my likening, however, is not necessary for a great listening experience. There is plenty of bass, good mids, and highs also. They are comfortable to wear for a couple hours or longer with the right sized tips without my ears getting tired. The call quality is great and I love the tap to talk feature. The battery life is solid as well. I spent around 2 hours gaming with my friends and only lost around 10% battery life. The bluetooth connectivity range is great as well. I can walk about 30 feet and go upstairs and have music or a call still connecting without breakage. Now the cons (theres only 1!): The active noise canceling on these earbuds are quite weak when compared to the AirPods Pro. The quantum TWS does a great job switching between the 3 options, however, it is lacking in this department.

Most gaming headphones I have tried seem to be cheap, uncomfortable, heavy, or some variation of the 3. These headphones, however, aren’t that way. They’re sturdy, but also lightweight and prove to be comfortable for long use sessions. The sound quality is pretty good for the price, and thus I have no complaints. The addition of the USB dongle to allow for use with consoles that don’t fully support bluetooth is very nice. My only gripe is that I can’t pair them directly via bluetooth to my switch or phone. Another thing I appreciate about these headphones are the design. Most gaming headphones are either really flashy with crazy LED lights, or really bold with crazy shapes and corners on the ear cups. These headphones aren’t that way. They’re sleek, with only the JBL logo lighting up. Some may prefer the more crazy designs or the flashy lights, but I personally prefer the more subtle design these headphones offer. Overall, these headphones are great for your light to more heavy gamer out there. I would definitely recommend these as either a gift for someone who likes to game a lot, or for yourself if you enjoy gaming but don’t want flashy headphones.
