Jbl Power Speaker

[Plywood] I've been a JBL person for many years, but I must say that putting this speaker next to my JBl JRX112M (the same speaker configuration), blew me away. I never thought JBL could be surpassed. I was wrong. This EV speaker did it. As a pro musician for many years, I rate this at the top 3 speakers in it's class, if not the top of the heap. I love the light weight for transporting, as I have to move my equipment 5 nights per week in Las Vegas. The sound reproduction is great. It actually put out more volume at the same mixer setting than the JBL. There are two things I would like to see changed. The handles should be on top (as the JBL), not on the sides. This will make the speaker easier to grab and load into a vehicle, instead of bending over and reaching for the handle on the side. Another change I would like to see, is that the cabinet would have both Speakon and 1/4 inputs, as some mixers don't have Speakon outputs, therefore requiring you to buy an adaptor. The JBL has both Speakon and 1/4 inputs. Otherwise, this speaker is an excellent choice...

[>80 dB] Have had this JBL speaker about 2 weeks. Love the adjustable equalizer on the app. Speaker sounds loud & clear. Has great bass & lofty highs. Love cranking rock music from this speaker. Light show is an added benefit but secondary to the music quality. Sooo happy I bought it! Love this speaker.

[3.32 lb] The Jbl speakers are always impressive, but the charge 4 is such a quality Bluetooth speaker that I will be purchasing another one to have a pair of the awesome bass pumping speakers.

[Bluetooth] I absolutely love, love my new flip 6 JBL speaker! The new improved upgraded woofer.. Makes my music and my podcasts sound more crystal clear than ever before! I highly recommend getting one to enhance your listing experience!! I absolutely love the color of the blue speaker too. I was expecting a dark dull color. Wrong!! It is a darker color. But, not really the blue color I was expecting. It's more of a darker teal color. My favorite color!!

[Tabletop] Does everything is want it to do hooked up some 10 year old (4)JBL speaker and sub with more room for the 2 that i have left . Great sound for back yard pool area.

[2700 Hz ] I am not using this as a Center Channel Speaker, but as my Left Dolby Atmos Speaker. I have an older JBL Center Channel Speaker for the Right Dolby Atmos Speaker, and I wanted something similar for the Left so I purchased the somewhat affordable Yamaha. Yes, it is an odd choice for Dolby Atmos Speakers, but it works and sounds really good.

[Yes] The size in no way limits the great sound from this very portable speaker. I’m very happy with the purchase. JBL never disappoints me.

[0.91 lb] [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like how JBL upped the functionality of this smaller speaker. Previous small speakers wouldn't have extra functions like skip ahead a song, or back a song. This one does. Previous speakers would basically just have play/pause and volume. It's nice to have that if you would use this as like a shower speaker or something and don't want your phone in with you. It is rated as water proof to a degree, 30 minutes at a meter, so a shower is fine. It has a nice heavy feel and you can tell with the sound, suprisingly loud and good bass sound. I also like that you can now pair it to other speakers in it's class, creating a stereo sound. I might have to get another one to make use of that option. Really sharp look. The clip is heavy duty enough that I'm not worried about it breaking or not holding up. There's a JBL Portable app for controlling the sound EQ which is nice. They have a "playtime boost" mode where it's louder, and also saves battery which it does at the expense of the EQ sound. So that mode sounds a little tinny, but it's definitely louder and would maybe be good for podcast listening or audio books where you want a little more volume. The back has padded grips so you can set it on it's back and it won't wreck the finish or anything like that.
