[4 ohms] i love jbl speakers and this speaker makes me love them even more, powerful bass and decent loudness, i own 2 other speakers (Charge 4, Xtreme 2) but oh man those 2 are no match COMBINED

[5.0] I'm not a DJ or a performer, bought this because my JBL Xtreme just wasn't loud enough. Was considering the Boombox, but this is so much louder, has so much more bass, and is way cheaper. Only thing is this has to be plugged in to work since it has no battery. Sound is unreal though, super clear, with a ton of bass

[2] [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First thing first let’s appreciate the detail and build quality of this beautiful powerful speaker. Unboxing this beast is always top notch with the beautiful packaging known from JBL. It comes with a usb type C AC charging cord. Instruction manual and a pretty nice looking adjustable carrying strap. After giving this speaker a full charge which didn’t take long. Before unplugging it. I tested it plugged in to AC power for an added boost in sound. From playing hip hop to rock and more fast paced EDM the Xtreme played it nice and clear and didn’t distort when I turned it up. Bass was solid and the passive bass radiators were moving some air. This thing gets loud even when I went portable and took it out to the park. The wide carrying strap made it easy to walk around or when I saw a nice tree branch I looped it on there with no problem and did a quick workout. Also it’s IP67 so it can handle the Xtreme elements outside especially here in Texas. Another cool and I think is a first for the Xtreme is they added a removable battery to extend the life even more since all batteries lose charge over time. Just knowing I can buy a new battery and bring it back to life again is a major selling point for me. Also with the JBL portable app which I used for different types of music I play. It has 4 to choose from and a custom EQ to customize to your liking. Also has a feature to boost the battery called Playtime boost. It pretty much turns off most of the bass to extend playtime. Would be cool if the speaker had a button on it to activate it or even a button on top for the EQ. But overall I really loved the Xtreme 4 and I’m sure you will too!

Let's start with the retro style - STUNNING. It doesn't stick out like a sore thumb in the house or outside...it blends in and adds a nice touch to any room. Next, the sound - this thing BUMPS...crystal clear vocals, deep bass, and perfectly toned music. PLUS, you can tune both treble/bass to your specific liking with the knobs on top! The buttons, and dials are HIGH quality as well... The wifi feature is also amazing...you can connect to your local network and play music off that if you prefer to bluetooth - so many options. 5/5! You nailed this one JBL!

[270 W ] [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The JBL Authentics 500 was absolutely breathtaking right out of the box. Quick and easy pairing via Bluetooth made for a fast startup, and then song after song was incredible to listen to from a relatively portable speaker. The first thing noticed was the cool, retro vibe of the speaker - not as common anymore but a welcome addition to any room and much more subtle than many of today's speakers. Trying to test the full range, this speaker performed magnificently from classical music with piano solos, to guitar riffs in rock and metal, to room-shaking bass in rap. The volume, bass and treble controls on top of the speaker are easily tuned and have a great light feature which indicates the level (i.e. the higher either of these are turned, the more full the circle of light becomes). Playing drastically different styles of music allows the listener to easily hear why the product is so amazing: the three tweeters, three midrange woofers and large subwoofer create an immersive sound experience, no matter what is being played. Additionally, this speaker performs amazingly well when paired with a TV/entertainment center. When paired with Bluetooth to the streaming service, watching movies became a delight and provided rich, deep sound with stunningly clear audio for voices and sound effects. Aside from the music quality, the WiFi integration on the Authentics 500 allows for automated assistants to be readily available (also accessible via ethernet port in the rear of the unit). While the price of the Authentics 500 is near or higher than some similarly-sized speakers in the market, the look, quality and value of JBL continues to exceed expectations and this is no exception. Highly recommend this to anyone looking to invest in a great, long-term, high quality speaker to enjoy throughout the home for years to come.

[Black] [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Hello, I’m reviewing the JBL Authentics 200. I was interested in a smaller speaker to connect to my other Wi-Fi speaker in my living room. After a little research I chose this one. Physically it’s perfect for what I need. The retro look, especially the grille, matches my other speaker very well. It’s smaller but attractive. With an aluminum frame, the build is solid. It’s got some weight behind it. I like the easy to access volume, bass and treble controls right on top too. What’s better than all of this is of course the sound. It sounds like a speaker 10 times this size. The 2 tweeters produce the bright crispy treble I love. They’re angled out to the right and left for separation and it works. The midrange and bass come from a front facing woofer that sounds fantastic. The bass is enhanced even more by a passive radiator mounted on the bottom. All of the sounds can be changed by the JBL One app, the controls on top of the speaker or by the device the speaker is connected to. The choice of inputs are Ethernet, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth USB-C, or a 3.5 mm jack. Built in Alexa or Google Assistant too. I can just say “Alexa, play jazz on Apple Music” and it happens. Very handy. These can be disabled also. I highly recommend this speaker. I love mine.

[Bluetooth] This speaker is exactly what I was looking for to play music around the house. It connects fairly quickly to Bluetooth via the app, and the bass bumps. Perfect for dance parties with my kids or relaxing to classical music at dinner time. I also ordered one of the little posts me speakers to sync up and play music in the kitchen so I’m looking forward to having a “surround sound” effect. I had been looking at a 2-3k dollar set up with a receiver and separate L/R speakers but am so glad I went with this because it meets my needs without being too technical for a novice.
