[Steel] I am using this stand for the kick drum and smaller amps. The heavy base keeps the positioning of the microphone very stable.

[33 dB] I recently build a Kick-Sub Microphone. In essence, you grab a loose speaker 6-12 and connect an XLR end to it and use it as a microphone for the Kick drum. The issue with doing this is that the signal comes out really strong. This unit is perfect for that as you can dial in your attenuation. It attenuates from 5db, 10db, 20db, 30db, 40db, all the way down to 50db. So, depending on how far I place that mic to the Kick drum, I can adjust the microphone to make sure it doesn't clip. The only thing I will say negative about it is that it is made of plastic. The construction quality doesn't seem great and for the price you would want a metal unit with much tighter tolerances. But I'm not planning to swing it around from the cable and smash things with it, so unless, I'm stepping on it constantly, I'm assuming it should last a long time.

[Black] This is an excellent stand for a kick drum mic. Be sure to get the boom that goes along with it. It is a great combination.

[Mono] If you're going to sell a product such as the dynamic kick drum microphone you should definitely include links after the purchase. For the different attachments/accessories. Because I wasn't aware at first how the mircophone would be attached to the drum.. I didn't find out until I got it that the attachments cost extra! So like maybe more explanations! I wouldn't have minded paying more, i would've gotten the attachment (either the clip or the mic stand) at the same time I bought the mircophone, if I knew I needed it!

[5/8"-27 Male] I am very pleased with this small boom stand. While it is a kick drum stand, I plan to use it in confined spaces to move my microphone out of an enclosed area for video recording. I needed a small height stand with a boom, and this will work perfectly!

[2.8 lb / 1.3 kg] It's a great sturdy stand. In my situation it doesn't go low enough to put the kick mic thru the hole and inside the drum. Works perfectly for outside the drum. I would buy a shorter version if they offered it

[Steel] What a difference using a small stand for my kick drum. Less space taken makes it all worth it. Small but excellent balance to hold any mike. Much better than a regular size stand that always seemed to get in the way.

[11.8 lb] Own the stand, great for kick drum/amps. Very sturdy construction. In response to the review above, no mic stand comes with the mic mount, but you can buy those anywhere.
