[Aluminum] P Series filter holder rocks

[620] This film is compatible with the Kodak Medalist series, but the plastic spool makes it tough to take out. It's nearly grainless, but lower contrast in the Medalist than I would like. I would venture that some of that ties to the camera (where the lenses are not coated for high contrast), but the smoothness of the pictures compared to 35mm, makes it enjoyable in sunny scenes. Physically this is the same as 120 film, but on a 620 spool. If your lab can do 120, they can do 620... just ask for the spool back.

[Acetate] An excellent offering from Kodak, I've had the pleasure of shooting this stock with my leica m and nikon f series film cameras. It's best to shoot at boxspeed and sometimes just slighter over, at the operator's discretion. Warmer tones, more cost effective in today's standards. Can't go wrong, get some while in stock.

[0.15 lb] I had previously tried to save some money by purchasing a cheap P Series Style Filter Holder. It did not accomodate the P Series Circular Polarizing filter because all the slots were the same size. The genuine Cokin P Series Filter holder has a wider first slot to accomodate the circular polarizing filter. This filter holder works perfectly.

[Aluminum] Cokin Z-Pro Series Filter Holder Adapter Rings have a deeper thread flange than after market products allowing you to securely attach you filter holder to your lens. The deeper flange also provides more clearance between the holder and lens. Some off-brand adapter rings are so shallow they do not leave enough room to attach the filter holder. I'll stick with Cokin for trouble free performance.

[0.06 lb] I have had an original 3x3 gel sheet Kodak #90 filter for over 30 years now. I trimmed it down and mounted it in a 120/220-size transparency mount and kept it in its original envelope (the slide is easier to remove and replace than the bare gel). I've keep it in its envelope when not in actual use as gels can fade. It works as everyone from A.A. onward has reported, and with care it will last for a long time.

[1] My favorite film currently on the market. Nothing can touch Kodak HIE, but I'm glad Rollei is trying to distract us from that. It's a lot of fun to shoot this IR-type film. I use either the IR72 filter or a #29 Red filter, both work well and give different results. The film works very well without a filter, too. Great stuff, versatile and dries flat.

[Manual Focus] Beautiful results with this lens. Shot with on BMPCC4K and Kodak variable ND filter. Has some macro capabilities as well. Great lens if you’re looking for a wide 35mm equivalent fixie
